ਅਥ ਕੰਸ ਬਧੂ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਪਹਿ ਆਵਤ ਭਈ ॥

ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਮਾਨਿ ਮਨੈ ਤਜਿ ਧਾਮਨ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਪਹਿ ਆਈ ॥
raaj sutaa dukh maan manai taj dhaaman ko har joo peh aaee |
The queen, in her extreme sorrow, left the palaces and came to Krishna
ਆਇ ਕੈ ਸੋ ਘਿਘਿਆਤ ਭਈ ਹਰਿ ਪੈ ਦੁਖ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥
aae kai so ghighiaat bhee har pai dukh kee sabh baat sunaaee |
While weeping, she began to relate her suffering to Krishna
ਡਾਰਿ ਦਯੋ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰ ਕੋ ਪਟ ਪੈ ਤਿਹ ਭੀਤਰ ਛਾਰ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
ddaar dayo sir aoopar ko patt pai tih bheetar chhaar milaaee |
The garment of her head had fallen down and there was dust in her head
ਕੰਠਿ ਲਗਾਇ ਰਹੀ ਭਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਤਿਹ ਦੇਖਤ ਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਨਿਵਾਈ ॥੮੫੫॥
kantth lagaae rahee bharataa har joo tih dekhat greev nivaaee |855|
While coming, she hugged her (dead) husband to her bosom and seeing this, Krishna bowed down his head.855.
ਰਿਪੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਰੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਫਿਰ ਕੈ ਸੋਊ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਹਿ ਆਏ ॥
rip karam kare tab hee har jee fir kai soaoo maat pitaa peh aae |
After performing the funeral rites of the king, Krishna came to his parents
ਤਾਤ ਨ ਮਾਤ ਭਏ ਬਸਿ ਮੋਹ ਕੇ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਦੁਹੂਨ ਕੋ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਵਾਏ ॥
taat na maat bhe bas moh ke putr duhoon ko sees nivaae |
Both the parents also bowed their heads on account of the attachment and reverence
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਬਢਾਏ ॥
braham lakhiyo tin ko kar kai har jee tin kai man moh badtaae |
They considered Krishna as God and Krishna also penetrated more attachment in their mind
ਕੈ ਬਿਨਤੀ ਅਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਭਾਵ ਕੈ ਬੰਧਨ ਪਾਇਨ ਤੇ ਛੁਟਵਾਏ ॥੮੫੬॥
kai binatee at bhaat ke bhaav kai bandhan paaein te chhuttavaae |856|
Krishna, with great modesty, instructed them in various ways and liberated them from bondages.856.
