TOTAK STANZA BY THY GRACE

ਨਵ ਨੇਵਰ ਨਾਦ ਸੁਰੰ ਨ੍ਰਿਮਲੰ ॥

nav nevar naad suran nrimalan |

Various kinds of pure tunes emanate from the anklets.

ਮੁਖ ਬਿੱਜੁਲ ਜ੍ਵਾਲ ਘਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਜੁਲੰ ॥

mukh bijul jvaal ghanan prajulan |

The face appears like the in blaze of lightning the dark clouds.

ਮਦਰਾ ਕਰ ਮੱਤ ਮਹਾ ਭਭਕੰ ॥

madaraa kar mat mahaa bhabhakan |

His gait is like that of an elephant

ਬਨ ਮੈ ਮਨੋ ਬਾਘ ਬਚਾ ਬਬਕੰ ॥੫੩॥

ban mai mano baagh bachaa babakan |53|

Intoxicated with wine. His loud thunder appears like the roar of a cub in the forest.53

ਭਵ ਭੂਤ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਭਵਾਨ ਭਵੰ ॥

bhav bhoot bhavakh bhavaan bhavan |

Thou art in the world in the past

ਕਲ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਬਾਰਨ ਏਕ ਤੁਵੰ ॥

kal kaaran ubaaran ek tuvan |

Future and present. Thou art the ONLY ONE Saviour in the Iron age.

ਸਭ ਠੌਰ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਨਿੱਤ ਨਯੰ ॥

sabh tthauar nirantar nit nayan |

Thou art ever new continuously at all places.

ਮ੍ਰਿਦੁ ਮੰਗਲ ਰੂਪ ਤੁਯੰ ਸੁ ਭਯੰ ॥੫੪॥

mrid mangal roop tuyan su bhayan |54|

Thou appearest impressive and sweet in Thy Blissful form.54.

ਦਿੜ ਦਾੜ੍ਹ ਕਰਾਲ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਸੇਤ ਉਧੰ ॥

dirr daarrh karaal dvai set udhan |

Thou hast two grinder teeth. Terrible white and high

ਜਿਹ ਭਾਜਤ ਦੁਸਟ ਬਿਲੋਕ ਜੁਧੰ ॥

jih bhaajat dusatt bilok judhan |

Seeing which the tyrants run away from the battlefield.

ਮਦ ਮਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਕਰਾਲ ਧਰੰ ॥

mad mat kripaan karaal dharan |

Thou art inebriated holding the terrible sword in Thy hand

ਜਯ ਸੱਦ ਸੁਰਾਸੁਰਯੰ ਉਚਰੰ ॥੫੫॥

jay sad suraasurayan ucharan |55|

. Both the gods and demons sing the eulogy of His victory.55.

ਨਵ ਕਿੰਕਣ ਨੇਵਰ ਨਾਦ ਹੂਅੰ ॥

nav kinkan nevar naad hooan |

When the united sound of the girdle bells and the anklets emantes

ਚਲ ਚਾਲ ਸਭਾਚਲ ਕੰਪ ਭੂਅੰ ॥

chal chaal sabhaachal kanp bhooan |

Then all the mountains become restless like mercury and the earth trembles.

ਘਣ ਘੁੰਘਰ ਘੰਟਣ ਘੋਰ ਸੁਰੰ ॥

ghan ghunghar ghanttan ghor suran |

When the constant jingling loud sound is heard

ਚਰ ਚਾਰ ਚਰਾਚਰਯੰ ਹੁਹਰੰ ॥੫੬॥

char chaar charaacharayan huharan |56|

Then all the movable and immovable objects become restless.56.

ਚਲ ਚੌਦਹੂੰ ਚੱਕ੍ਰਨ ਚੱਕ੍ਰ ਫਿਰੰ ॥

chal chauadahoon chakran chakr firan |

Thy weapons are used in all the fourteen worlds alongwith Thy Command the empty ones.

ਬਢਵੰ ਘਟਵੰ ਹਰੀਅੰ ਸੁਭਰੰ ॥

badtavan ghattavan hareean subharan |

With which Thou causest deficiency in the augmented once and fill to the brim

ਜਗ ਜੀਵ ਜਿਤੇ ਜਲਯੰ ਥਲਯੰ ॥

jag jeev jite jalayan thalayan |

All the creatures of the world on land and in water

ਅਸ ਕੋ ਜੁ ਤਵਾਇਸੁਅੰ ਮਲਯੰ ॥੫੭॥

as ko ju tavaaeisuan malayan |57|

Who is the amongst them who hath the audacity to refuse Thy Command? 57.

ਘਟ ਭਾਦਵ ਮਾਸ ਕੀ ਜਾਣ ਸੁਭੰ ॥

ghatt bhaadav maas kee jaan subhan |

Just as the dark cloud seem impressive in the month of Bhadon

ਤਨ ਸਾਵਰੇ ਰਾਵਰੇਅੰ ਹੁਲਸੰ ॥

tan saavare raavarean hulasan |

In the same manner Thy dark body hath its glow.

ਰਦ ਪੰਗਤ ਦਾਮਨੀਅੰ ਦਮਕੰ ॥

rad pangat daamaneean damakan |

The chain of Thy teeth glitters like lightning

ਘਨ ਘੁੰਘਰ ਘੰਟ ਸੁਰੰ ਘਮਕੰ ॥੫੮॥

ghan ghunghar ghantt suran ghamakan |58|

The melody of the small bells and gongs is like the thunder of the clouds. 58.
