ਮਹੁਰਾ ਮਿਠਾ ਆਖੀਐ ਰੁਠੀ ਨੋ ਤੁਠੀ ।
mahuraa mitthaa aakheeai rutthee no tutthee |
The foolish would say the poison sweet and the angry person a happy one.
ਬੁਝਿਆ ਵਡਾ ਵਖਾਣੀਐ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਕੁਠੀ ।
bujhiaa vaddaa vakhaaneeai savaaree kutthee |

ਜਲਿਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਗਈ ਨੋ ਆਈ ਤੇ ਉਠੀ ।

ਉਜੜੁ ਤ੍ਰਟੀ ਬੇਮੁਖਾਂ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਖਨਿ ਵੁਠੀ ।
aujarr trattee bemukhaan tis aakhan vutthee |
To the ruining person, the foolish would say that he is leaving everything of his own sweet will.
ਚੋਰੈ ਸੰਦੀ ਮਾਉਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਲੁਕਿ ਰੋਵੈ ਮੁਠੀ ।੧੪।
