ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਤਿਨੈ ਪਿਖਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਤੁਮ ਧਾਮਿ ਸਿਧਾਰੋ ॥

sree bhagavaan tinai pikh prem kahiyo mukh te tum dhaam sidhaaro |

ਜਾਇ ਸਭੈ ਪਤਿ ਆਪਨ ਆਪਨ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਕਥਾ ਕਹਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਉਧਾਰੋ ॥

jaae sabhai pat aapan aapan kaanrah kathaa keh taeh udhaaro |

Seeing them with affection, Krishna asked them to go home and also told them to redeem their husbands by relating to them the story of Krishna

ਪੁਤ੍ਰਨ ਪਉਤ੍ਰਨ ਪਤਿਨ ਸੋ ਇਹ ਕੈ ਚਰਚਾ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਦੁਖੁ ਟਾਰੋ ॥

putran pautran patin so ih kai charachaa sabh hee dukh ttaaro |

ਗੰਧ ਮਲਿਯਾਗਰ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਰੂਖਨ ਕੋ ਕਰਿ ਚੰਦਨ ਡਾਰੋ ॥੩੨੩॥

gandh maliyaagar sayaam ko naam lai rookhan ko kar chandan ddaaro |323|

He asked them to remove the sufferings of sons, grandsons and husbands with this discussion and repeating the name ‘Krishna’, the giver of the fragrance of sandalwood, fill the other trees with this fragrance.323.

ਮਾਨ ਲਈ ਪਤਨੀ ਦਿਜ ਕੀ ਸਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਕਹੀ ਬਤੀਆ ॥

maan lee patanee dij kee sam amrit kaanrah kahee bateea |

ਜਿਤਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਯਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਤਿਤਨੋ ਨਹਿ ਹੋਤ ਕਛੂ ਜਤੀਆ ॥

jitano har yaa upades kariyo titano neh hot kachhoo jateea |

Listening to the ambrosial words of Krishna, the wives of Brahmins agreed and the instructions given by Krishna to them cannot be given in the same volume by any celibate

ਚਰਚਾ ਜਬ ਜਾ ਉਨ ਸੋ ਇਨ ਕੀ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਉਨ ਕੀ ਭਈ ਯਾ ਗਤੀਆ ॥

charachaa jab jaa un so in kee tab hee un kee bhee yaa gateea |

ਇਨ ਸ੍ਰਯਾਹ ਭਏ ਮੁਖ ਯੌ ਜੁਵਤੀ ਮੁਖ ਲਾਲ ਭਏ ਵਹ ਜਿਉ ਰਤੀਆ ॥੩੨੪॥

ein srayaah bhe mukh yau juvatee mukh laal bhe veh jiau rateea |324|

When they discussed bout Krishna with their husbands, it led to this situation that their faces turned black and the faces of these ladies became red with the essence of love.324.

ਚਰਚਾ ਸੁਨਿ ਬਿਪ ਜੁ ਤ੍ਰੀਅਨ ਸੋ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਪਛੁਤਾਵਨ ਲਾਗੇ ॥

charachaa sun bip ju treean so mil kai sabh hee pachhutaavan laage |

ਬੇਦਨ ਕੌ ਹਮ ਕੌ ਸਭ ਕੌ ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਗੋਪ ਗਏ ਮੰਗ ਕੈ ਹਮ ਆਗੈ ॥

bedan kau ham kau sabh kau dhrig gop ge mang kai ham aagai |

All the Brahmins repented on listening to the discussion of their wives and said, “We alongwith the knowledge of our Vedas be cursed that the gopas came to beg from us and went away

ਮਾਨ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਮੈ ਬੂਡੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਹਮ ਚੂਕ ਗਯੋ ਅਉਸਰ ਤਉ ਹਮ ਜਾਗੇ ॥

maan samundr mai boodde hute ham chook gayo aausar tau ham jaage |

We remained immersed in the sea of pride and awoke only on losing the opportunity

ਪੈ ਜਿਨ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਪਤਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਤੇ ਫੁਨਿ ਹੈ ਹਮ ਹੂੰ ਬਡਭਾਗੇ ॥੩੨੫॥

pai jin kee ih hai patanee tih te fun hai ham hoon baddabhaage |325|

Now we are fortunate only that our women dyed in the love of Krishna are our wives.”325.

ਮਾਨਿ ਸਭੈ ਦਿਜ ਆਪਨ ਕੋ ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਫੇਰਿ ਕਰੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਬਡਾਈ ॥

maan sabhai dij aapan ko dhrig fer karee mil kaanrah baddaaee |

ਲੋਕਨ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਕੇ ਪਤਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਹਮੈ ਕਹਿ ਬੇਦਨ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥

lokan ko sabh ke pat kaanrah hamai keh bedan baat sunaaee |

The Brahmins cursing themselves eulogised Krishna and said, “TheVedas tell us that Krishna is the Lord of all the worlds

ਤੌ ਨ ਗਏ ਉਨ ਕੇ ਹਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਡਰੇ ਜੁ ਮਰੇ ਹਮ ਕਉ ਹਮ ਰਾਈ ॥

tau na ge un ke ham paas ddare ju mare ham kau ham raaee |

ਸਤਿ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਤੁਮ ਕਉ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕਹੀ ਹਮ ਸਤ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਬਨਾਈ ॥੩੨੬॥

sat lakhiyo tum kau bhagavaan kahee ham sat kahee na banaaee |326|

We did not go to him out of the fear of Kansa, who may kill us, but O women! you have recognized that Lord in His Real Form.”326.
