ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਕੀਏ ਰਣਿ ਤੇ ਨ ਟਰੈ ॥

ਬਹੁ ਸਾਲ ਸਿਲਾ ਤਲ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਛੁਟੇ ॥
bahu saal silaa tal brichh chhutte |
ਦੁਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਜਬੈ ਰਣ ਬੀਰ ਜੁਟੇ ॥੧੧੬॥

Lavanasura held his trident in his hand in anger and chopped the head of Mandhata into two parts
ਬਹੁ ਜੂਥਪ ਜੂਥਨ ਸੈਨ ਭਜੀ ॥
bahu joothap joothan sain bhajee |
ਨ ਉਚਾਇ ਸਕੈ ਸਿਰੁ ਐਸ ਲਜੀ ॥੧੧੭॥

The army of Mandhata ran away, being grouped together and got so much ashmed that it could not carry the head of the king.117.
ਘਨ ਜੈਸੇ ਭਜੇ ਘਨ ਘਾਇਲ ਹੁਐ ॥
ghan jaise bhaje ghan ghaaeil huai |
ਬਰਖਾ ਜਿਮਿ ਸ੍ਰੋਣਤ ਧਾਰ ਚੁਐ ॥
barakhaa jim sronat dhaar chuai |
The army, getting wounded, flew away like clouds and the blood flowed as if it was raining
ਸਭ ਮਾਨ ਮਹੀਪਤਿ ਛੇਤ੍ਰਹਿ ਦੈ ॥
sabh maan maheepat chhetreh dai |
ਸਬ ਹੀ ਦਲ ਭਾਜਿ ਚਲਾ ਜੀਅ ਲੈ ॥੧੧੮॥
sab hee dal bhaaj chalaa jeea lai |118|
Abandoning the dead king in the battlefield, the whole army of the king saved itself by fleeing away.118.
ਇਕ ਘੂਮਤ ਘਾਇਲ ਸੀਸ ਫੁਟੇ ॥
eik ghoomat ghaaeil sees futte |
ਇਕ ਸ੍ਰੋਣ ਚੁਚਾਵਤ ਕੇਸ ਛੁਟੇ ॥
eik sron chuchaavat kes chhutte |
Those who returned, their heads cracked, their hair were loosened and being wounded, the blood flowed form their heads
ਰਣਿ ਮਾਰ ਕੈ ਮਾਨਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲ ਲੀਏ ॥
ran maar kai maan trisool lee |
ਭਟ ਭਾਤਹਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਜਾਇ ਦੀਏ ॥੧੧੯॥
bhatt bhaateh bhaat bhajaae dee |119|
In this way, Lavanasura won the battle on the strength of his trident and caused the warriors of many kinds to run away.119.
