ਰੂਪ ਭਰੇ ਰਾਗੁ ਭਰੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਭਰੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਔ ਮਿਮੋਲਨ ਕੀ ਮਾਨੋ ਇਹ ਖਾਨਿ ਹੈ ॥

roop bhare raag bhare sundar suhaag bhare mrig aau mimolan kee maano ih khaan hai |

‘Your eyes are epitome of beauty and melody and are the treasure of the charm of the she-deer and the fish

ਮੀਨ ਹੀਨ ਕੀਨੇ ਛੀਨ ਲੀਨੈ ਹੈ ਬਿਧੂਪ ਰੂਪ ਚਿਤ ਕੇ ਚੁਰਾਇਬੋ ਕੌ ਚੋਰਨ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੈ ॥

meen heen keene chheen leenai hai bidhoop roop chit ke churaaeibo kau choran samaan hai |

‘And thrive the heart, and are the paragons of benevolence.

ਲੋਗੋਂ ਕੇ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਹੈਂ ਗੁਨਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਗਰ ਹੈਂ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਹੈਂ ਸੋਭਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਹੈਂ ॥

logon ke ujaagar hain gunan ke naagar hain soorat ke saagar hain sobhaa ke nidhaan hain |

‘O, my friend! Your vision is as sweet as honey, and sharp, as well,

ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੀ ਸੀਰੀ ਪੜੇ ਚੇਟਕ ਕੀ ਚੀਰੀ ਅਰੀ ਆਲੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੈਨ ਰਾਮਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਸੇ ਬਾਨ ਹੈ ॥੯॥

saahib kee seeree parre chettak kee cheeree aree aalee tere nain raamachandr ke se baan hai |9|
