ਪੂਤਨ ਸੋ ਪਤ ਪਾਈਯੈ ਪੂਤ ਭਿਰਤ ਰਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

pootan so pat paaeeyai poot bhirat ran jaae |

‘We receive the honours through our sons, who fight for our integrity.’

ਇਹ ਮਿਸ ਰਾਖਿ ਉਡਾਇ ਕੈ ਲਈ ਸਲਾਕ ਛਪਾਇ ॥੯॥

eih mis raakh uddaae kai lee salaak chhapaae |9|
