ਰਾਨੀ ਏਕ ਠਵਰ ਇਕ ਰਹੈ ॥

raanee ek tthavar ik rahai |

ਬਿਜੈ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਜਗ ਕਹੈ ॥

bijai kuar taa ko jag kahai |

There used to live a Rani, whom the world has known as Vijay Kunwar.

ਬਡੇ ਰਾਜ ਕੀ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਸੋਹੈ ॥

badde raaj kee duhitaa sohai |

ਜਾ ਸਮ ਅਵਰ ਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

jaa sam avar na doosar ko hai |1|

She was the daughter of a big Raja and there was none other like her.(1)

ਤਿਨ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਇਕ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥

tin sundar ik purakh nihaaraa |

ਕਾਮ ਬਾਨ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਮਾਰਾ ॥

kaam baan taa ke tan maaraa |

She saw a handsome man and the Cupids arrow went trough her body.

ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸਜਨ ਕੀ ਛਬਿ ਉਰਝਾਈ ॥

nirakh sajan kee chhab urajhaaee |

ਪਠੈ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਲਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥੨॥

patthai sahacharee layo bulaaee |2|

She was entrapped in his splendour and she sent her maid to invite him.(2)

ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥

kaam kel tih sang kamaayo |

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੋ ਗਰੇ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥

bhaat bhaat so gare lagaayo |

She enjoyed sex with him and had various sex-plays.

ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਦੋ ਪਹਰ ਬੀਤੇ ਸੋਏ ॥

raatr do pehar beete soe |

ਚਿਤ ਕੇ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਸਕਲ ਦੁਖ ਖੋਏ ॥੩॥

chit ke duhoon sakal dukh khoe |3|

When the night had gone two watches, they ravelled again.(3)

ਸੋਵਤ ਉਠੈ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਰਤਿ ਮਾਨੈ ॥

sovat utthai bahur rat maanai |

ਰਹੀ ਰੈਨਿ ਜਬ ਘਰੀ ਪਛਾਨੈ ॥

rahee rain jab gharee pachhaanai |

They would get up from the sleep and make love. When one-watch was left.,

ਆਪੁ ਚੇਰਿਯਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਜਗਾਵੈ ॥

aap cheriyeh jaae jagaavai |

ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਦੈ ਉਹਿ ਧਾਮ ਪਠਾਵੈ ॥੪॥

tih sang dai uhi dhaam patthaavai |4|

The maid would wake them up and accompany him to his home.(4)

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੋ ਤਿਹ ਰੋਜ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥

eih bidh so tih roj bulaavai |

ਅੰਤ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਕੇ ਧਾਮ ਪਠਾਵੈ ॥

ant raatr ke dhaam patthaavai |

This way the lady used to call him everyday and send him back at the day break.

ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਰਤਿ ਮਾਨੈ ॥

lapatt lapatt taa so rat maanai |

ਭੇਦ ਔਰ ਕੋਊ ਪੁਰਖ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ॥੫॥

bhed aauar koaoo purakh na jaanai |5|

Whole night she used to indulge in sex and no body else could discern.(5)

ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਿਹ ਲਿਯਾ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥

ek divas tih liyaa bulaaee |

ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਕਰਿ ਦਯੋ ਉਠਾਈ ॥

kaam kel kar dayo utthaaee |

One day she called him and after sex-play bade him to go.

ਚੇਰੀ ਕਹ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਅਤਿ ਭਈ ॥

cheree keh nindraa at bhee |

ਸੋਇ ਰਹੀ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਨ ਗਈ ॥੬॥

soe rahee tih sang na gee |6|

The maid was in deep slumber and could not accompany him.(6)

ਚੇਰੀ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਾਰ ਹੂੰ ਧਾਯੋ ॥

cheree binaa jaar hoon dhaayo |

ਚੌਕੀ ਹੁਤੀ ਤਹਾ ਚਲਿ ਆਯੋ ॥

chauakee hutee tahaa chal aayo |

The lover left the place without the maid and reached where the watchmen were posted.

ਤਾ ਕੋ ਕਾਲ ਪਹੂੰਚ︀ਯੋ ਆਈ ॥

taa ko kaal pahoonchayo aaee |

ਤਿਨ ਮੂਰਖ ਕਛੁ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥੭॥

tin moorakh kachh baat na paaee |7|

His bad time had come but that idiot did not grasp the mystery.(7)
