ਦਯਾ ਮਾਨ ਯੌ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥

dayaa maan yau bachan uchaare |

ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਾਹੁ ਕੇ ਸੁਤ ਦੁਖ੍ਰਯਾਰੇ ॥

sunahu saahu ke sut dukhrayaare |

Being compassionate they said, ‘Listen, you, the distressed son of the Shah,

ਜਾਇ ਚਮਰੁ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਮੁਖ ਕਹਿ ਹੈ ॥

jaae chamar too too mukh keh hai |

ਛੇਰੀ ਲਗੀ ਭੂੰਮ ਮੈ ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੭॥

chheree lagee bhoonm mai reh hai |17|

‘Which ever the goat you would order to get stuck, that will go to sleep.(17)
