ਪੁਨਿ ਧਰਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਸਪ ਵਤਾਰ ॥

pun dharaa braham kasap vataar |

ਸ੍ਰੁਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਾਠ ਤ੍ਰੀਅ ਬਰੀ ਚਾਰ ॥

srut kare paatth treea baree chaar |

ਮਥਨੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ॥

mathanee srisatt keenee pragaas |

ਉਪਜਾਇ ਦੇਵ ਦਾਨਵ ਸੁ ਬਾਸ ॥੭॥

The Brahma assuming the Kashyap incarnation, recited shrutis (Vedas) and married four women, after that he created the whole world, when both gods and demons were created.7.

ਜੋ ਭਏ ਰਿਖਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗੇ ਵਤਾਰ ॥

jo bhe rikh hvai ge vataar |

ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਿਨੋ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

tin ko bichaar kino bichaar |

ਸ੍ਰੁਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਬੇਦ ਅਰੁ ਧਰੇ ਅਰਥ ॥

srut kare bed ar dhare arath |

ਕਰ ਦਏ ਦੂਰ ਭੂਅ ਕੇ ਅਨਰਥ ॥੮॥

kar de door bhooa ke anarath |8|

Those who because sages, he though about them, he interpreted the Vedas and removed the misfortune from the earth.8.

ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੀਨ ਦੂਸ੍ਰ ਵਤਾਰ ॥

eih bhaat keen doosr vataar |

ਅਬ ਕਹੋ ਤੋਹਿ ਤੀਸ੍ਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

ab kaho tohi teesr bichaar |

ਜਿਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਧਰ︀ਯੋ ਬਪੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਰਾਇ ॥

jih bhaat dharayo bap braham raae |

ਸਭ ਕਹ︀ਯੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਨੀਕੇ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥੯॥

sabh kehayo taeh neeke subhaae |9|
