ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਿਨ ਲੀਨੀ ਸਖੀ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

ek divas tin leenee sakhee bulaae kai |

ਪਰਿ ਗਈ ਤਿਨ ਮੈ ਹੋਡ ਸੁ ਐਸੇ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥

par gee tin mai hodd su aise aae kai |

One day she called over another lady and settled a bet with her,

ਕਾਲਿ ਸਜਨ ਕੇ ਬਾਗ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਚਲਿ ਜਾਇਹੋਂ ॥

kaal sajan ke baag kahiyo chal jaaeihon |

‘Tomorrow, I will go to the garden with this friend, and while this

ਹੋ ਇਹ ਮੂਰਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਤ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਇ ਹੋ ॥੪॥

ho ih moorakh ke dekhat bhog kamaae ho |4|
