ਇਹ ਬਿਧ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬੈ ਚੁਨਿ ਮਾਰੇ ॥

ਗਿਰੇ ਆਪਨੇ ਸੂਰ ਸੰਭਾਰੇ ॥

gire aapane soor sanbhaare |

In this way, all the enemies were aimed and killed. After that they took care of their dead.

ਤਹ ਘਾਇਲ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਕੱਹ ਲਹਾ ॥

teh ghaaeil hinmat kaeh lahaa |

Then on seeing Himmat lying wounded, Ram Singh said to Gopal.67.

ਜਿਨ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਸ ਕਲਹ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥

jin hinmat as kalah badtaayo |

ਘਾਇਲ ਆਜ ਹਾਥ ਵਹ ਆਯੋ ॥

ghaaeil aaj haath veh aayo |

“That Himmat, who had been the root-cause of all the quarreld, hath now fallen wounded in out hands.”

ਜਬ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਵਾ ॥

jab gupaal aise sun paavaa |

ਮਾਰਿ ਦੀਓ ਜੀਅਤ ਨ ਉਠਾਵਾ ॥੬੮॥

maar deeo jeeat na utthaavaa |68|

When Gopal heard these words, he killed Himmat and did not allow him to get up alive. 68.

ਜੀਤ ਭਈ ਰਨ ਭਯੋ ਉਝਾਰਾ ॥

jeet bhee ran bhayo ujhaaraa |

ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਭ ਘਰੋ ਸਿਧਾਰਾ ॥

simrit kar sabh gharo sidhaaraa |

The victory was gained and the battle ended. While remembering homes, all went there.

ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਯੋ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਜਗਰਾਈ ॥

raakh leeyo ham ko jagaraaee |

ਲੋਹ ਘਟਾ ਅਨਤੈ ਬਰਸਾਈ ॥੬੯॥

loh ghattaa anatai barasaaee |69|

The Lord protected me from the cloud of battle, which rained elsewhere. 69.
