Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਆਪਿ ॥

manorath poore satigur aap |

The True Guru fulfills the mind's desires.

ਸਗਲ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਜਾਪਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sagal padaarath simaran jaa kai aatth pehar mere man jaap |1| rahaau |

All wealth and treasures are obtained by remembering Him in meditation; twenty-four hours a day, O my mind, meditate on Him. ||1||Pause||

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਜੋ ਪੀਵੈ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸ ॥

amrit naam suaamee teraa jo peevai tis hee tripataas |

Your Name is Ambrosial Nectar, O my Lord and Master. Whoever drinks it in is satisfied.

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਨਾਸਹਿ ਆਗੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਹੋਇ ਖਲਾਸ ॥੧॥

janam janam ke kilabikh naaseh aagai daragah hoe khalaas |1|

The sins of countless incarnations are erased, and hereafter, he shall be saved and redeemed in the Court of the Lord. ||1||

ਸਰਨਿ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਆਇਓ ਕਰਤੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਅਬਿਨਾਸ ॥

saran tumaaree aaeo karate paarabraham pooran abinaas |

I have come to Your Sanctuary, O Creator, O Perfect Supreme Eternal Lord God.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨ ਧਿਆਵਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਦਰਸ ਪਿਆਸ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੯॥

kar kirapaa tere charan dhiaavau naanak man tan daras piaas |2|5|19|

Please be kind to me, that I may meditate on Your Lotus Feet. O Nanak, my mind and body thirst for the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||2||5||19||
