Fourth Mehl:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥

satigur seveeai aapanaa paaeeai naam apaar |

Serving his True Guru, one obtains the Naam, the Name of the Infinite Lord.

ਭਉਜਲਿ ਡੁਬਦਿਆ ਕਢਿ ਲਏ ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ॥

bhaujal ddubadiaa kadt le har daat kare daataar |

The drowning person is lifted up and out of the terrifying world-ocean; the Great Giver gives the gift of the Lord's Name.

ਧੰਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਸੇ ਸਾਹ ਹੈ ਜਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ ॥

dhan dhan se saah hai ji naam kareh vaapaar |

Blessed, blessed are those bankers who trade the Naam.

ਵਣਜਾਰੇ ਸਿਖ ਆਵਦੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਘਾਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥

vanajaare sikh aavade sabad laghaavanahaar |

The Sikhs, the traders come, and through the Word of His Shabad, they are carried across.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਭਈ ਤਿਨ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥

jan naanak jin kau kripaa bhee tin seviaa sirajanahaar |2|

O servant Nanak, they alone serve the Creator Lord, who are blessed by His Grace. ||2||
