ਰਾਵ ਅਹੀਰਨਿ ਦੁਇ ਤਰੁਨ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥

raav aheeran due tarun bhog kareh sukh paae |

(This way) Raja and the milk-maid copulated and enjoyed,

ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਮੈ ਚਿਮਟਿ ਚਿਮਟਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੦॥

lapatt lapatt raajaa ramai chimatt chimatt triy jaae |10|

As, cuddling and hugging, the woman would embrace the Raja.(10)

ਡੋਲਤ ਮਹਿਖੀ ਨ ਰਹੈ ਬੋਲ︀ਯੋ ਬਚਨ ਅਹੀਰ ॥

ddolat mahikhee na rahai bolayo bachan aheer |

When the buffalo jerked excessively, the milkman again asserted,

ਕਹਾ ਕਰਤ ਹੋ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਗਵਾਵਤ ਛੀਰ ॥੧੧॥

kahaa karat ho gvaaranee brithaa gavaavat chheer |11|

‘What are you doing, you the milkmaid, wasting the milk for nothing.’(11)

ਹੋ ਅਹੀਰ ਮੈ ਕ︀ਯਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਟਿਯਾ ਮੁਹਿ ਦੁਖ ਦੇਤ ॥

ho aheer mai kayaa karo kattiyaa muhi dukh det |

‘What can I do, the calf is giving me lot of trouble.

ਯਾ ਕਹ ਚੂੰਘਨ ਦੀਜਿਯੈ ਦੁਗਧ ਜਿਯਨ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ॥੧੨॥

yaa keh choonghan deejiyai dugadh jiyan ke het |12|

‘Let him suck. After all milk is created for them.’(l2)

ਅਧਿਕ ਮਾਨਿ ਸੁਖ ਘਰ ਗਯੋ ਰਾਵ ਅਹੀਰ ਨਿਸੰਗ ॥

adhik maan sukh ghar gayo raav aheer nisang |

‘This way Raja and the milkman, both left for their abodes, satisfied,’

ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਕੀਯੋ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗ ॥੧੩॥

yau keh mantree nripat pat pooran keeyo prasang |13|

Concluding the story, the Minster had told the Raja.(13)

ਭੇਦ ਅਹੀਰ ਨ ਕਛੁ ਲਹਿਯੋ ਆਯੋ ਅਪਨੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਹ ॥

bhed aheer na kachh lahiyo aayo apane greh |

Without understanding the secret, milkman returned to his home,

ਰਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਤਿਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਭਏ ਅਧਿਕ ਬਢਾਯੋ ਨੇਹ ॥੧੪॥

raam bhanai tin triy bhe adhik badtaayo neh |14|

And the poet Ram says, the lady thus enjoyed the love to great extent (14)(1)
