ath dhuneea guroo kathanan |

Now begins the description of the Cotton Carder as the Guru

chauapee |

CHAUPAI

aage chalaa raaj sanayaasaa |

ek aas geh ais anaasaa |

Leaving all other desires and keeping only one thought in his mind, Dutt, the king of Yogis moved further

teh ik room dhunakhato lahaa |

ais bhaat man sau mun kahaa |188|

There he saw a carder carding cotton and said thus in hiss mind188

bhoop sain ih jaat na lahee |

greevaa neech neech hee rahee |

“This man has not seen all the army passing in front of him and his neck remained bowed

sagal sain vaahee mag gee |

taa kau naik khabar nahee bhee |189|

The whole army went on this path, but he was not conscious of that.”189.

rooee dhunakhato fir na nihaaraa |

neech hee greevaa rahaa bichaaraa |

While carding the cotton, he did not look back and this lowly person kept his neck bowed

dat bilok hee musakaanaa |

khasattam guroo tisee kahu jaanaa |190|

Seeing him, Dutt smiled in his mind and said, “I accept him as my sixth Guru.”190.

room het ih jim chit laayo |

sain gee par sir na uchaayo |

taisee prabh sau preet lageeai |

tab hee purakh puraatan peeai |191|

The way in which he absorbed his mind in cotton and the army passed away and he did not raise his head, in the same way, when the Lord will be loved, then that ancient Purusha i.e. the Lord will be realized.191.

eit rooee dhunakhataa peaanjaa khasattamo guroo samaapatan |6|

End of the description of the adoption of Carder as the sixth Guru.
