ਤਾ ਕੌ ਢੀਠ ਬਧਾਇ ਕੈ ਕਾਢਿ ਲਈ ਤਰਵਾਰਿ ॥

taa kau dteetth badhaae kai kaadt lee taravaar |

He, then, tied him up and drew the sword.

ਤੁਰਤ ਘਾਵ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਕਿਯੋ ਹਨਤ ਨ ਲਾਗੀ ਬਾਰਿ ॥੫॥

turat ghaav taa ko kiyo hanat na laagee baar |5|

He, instantly, struck him to injure and then killed.(5)

ਤਾ ਕੋ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰਤ ਭਯੋ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਪਾਯੋ ਖੇਦ ॥

taa ko han ddaarat bhayo kachhoo na paayo khed |

By killing him he felt no remorse.

ਗਾਵ ਸੁਖੀ ਅਪਨੇ ਬਸਿਯੋ ਕਿਨੂੰ ਨ ਜਾਨ︀ਯੋ ਭੇਦ ॥੬॥

gaav sukhee apane basiyo kinoo na jaanayo bhed |6|

He commenced living a peaceful life in his village and no body ever perceived the mystery.(6)(1)
