Jaitsree, Fifth Mehl:

ਲੋੜੀਦੜਾ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

lorreedarraa saajan meraa |

I seek my Friend the Lord.

ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨੀਕੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ghar ghar mangal gaavahu neeke ghatt ghatt tiseh baseraa |1| rahaau |

In each and every home, sing the sublime songs of rejoicing; He abides in each and every heart. ||1||Pause||

ਸੂਖਿ ਅਰਾਧਨੁ ਦੂਖਿ ਅਰਾਧਨੁ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਬੇਰਾ ॥

sookh araadhan dookh araadhan bisarai na kaahoo beraa |

In good times, worship and adore Him; in bad times, worship and adore Him; do not ever forget Him.

ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਕੋਟਿ ਸੂਰ ਉਜਾਰਾ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਭਰਮੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ॥੧॥

naam japat kott soor ujaaraa binasai bharam andheraa |1|

Chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the light of millions of suns shines forth, and the darkness of doubt is dispelled. ||1||

ਥਾਨਿ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਸਭਨੀ ਜਾਈ ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਤੇਰਾ ॥

thaan thanantar sabhanee jaaee jo deesai so teraa |

In all the spaces and interspaces, everywhere, whatever we see is Yours.

ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਜੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਫੇਰਾ ॥੨॥੩॥੪॥

santasang paavai jo naanak tis bahur na hoee hai feraa |2|3|4|

One who finds the Society of the Saints, O Nanak, is not consigned to reincarnation again. ||2||3||4||
