ਦੈਤਨ ਕੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਾਧ ਸੇਵਕ ਕੀ ਬਰਤਾ ਤੂ ਕਹੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤ ਹੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਤਾ ॥

daitan kee mrit saadh sevak kee barataa too kahai kab sayaam aad ant hoon kee karataa |

The poet Shyam says, “O goddess! Thou art the death of the demons and

ਦੀਜੈ ਬਰਦਾਨ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਰਤ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਤੋਹਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਬਰੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਦੋਖ ਦਾਰਦ ਕੀ ਹਰਤਾ ॥

deejai baradaan mohi karat binantee tohi kaanrah bar deejai dokh daarad kee harataa |

Lover of the saints and the creator of the beginning and the end

ਤੂ ਹੀ ਪਾਰਬਤੀ ਅਸਟ ਭੁਜੀ ਤੁਹੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਤੁਹੀ ਤੁਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਛੁਧਾ ਤੁਹੀ ਪੇਟ ਹੂੰ ਕੀ ਭਰਤਾ ॥

tuhee roop laal tuhee set roop peet tuhee tuhee roop dharaa ko hai tuhee aap karataa |285|
