Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:

ਆਪੁਨੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਨਿਬਾਹਿ ॥

aapunee bhagat nibaeh |

Please help me sustain my devotion.

ਠਾਕੁਰ ਆਇਓ ਆਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

O Lord Master, I have come to You. ||1||Pause||

ਨਾਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਹੋਇ ਸਕਾਰਥੁ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਚਰਨ ਬਸਾਹਿ ॥੧॥

naam padaarath hoe sakaarath hiradai charan basaeh |1|

With the wealth of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, life becomes fruitful. Lord, please place Your Feet within my heart. ||1||

ਏਹ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਏਹ ਜੁਗਤਾ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗਾਹਿ ॥੨॥

eeh mukataa eeh jugataa raakhahu sant sangaeh |2|

This is liberation, and this is the best way of life; please, keep me in the Society of the Saints. ||2||

ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਉ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਹਿ ॥੩॥੬॥੧੪੬॥

naam dhiaavau sehaj samaavau naanak har gun gaeh |3|6|146|

Meditating on the Naam, I am absorbed in celestial peace; O Nanak, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||6||146||
