ਜਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਅੰਤਹ ਪੁਰ ਆਯੋ ॥

jab raajaa antah pur aayo |

ਸੁਨ︀ਯੋ ਜੁ ਬਰੁ ਰਾਨੀ ਜੂ ਪਾਯੋ ॥

sunayo ju bar raanee joo paayo |

When the Raja returned, he came to know the boon, which the Rani had been granted.

ਮੋ ਕੌ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਇਹ ਦਈ ॥

mo kau kahiyo jeet ih dee |

ਤਾ ਸੌ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਈ ॥੨੬॥

taa sau preet adhik hvai gee |26|

He thought, ‘she has made the victory possible, therefore, I must love her more.’(26)
