Pauree:

ਹੇ ਅਚੁਤ ਹੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਅਘਨਾਸ ॥

he achut he paarabraham abinaasee aghanaas |

O Immovable Lord, O Supreme Lord God, Imperishable, Destroyer of sins:

ਹੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੇ ਸਰਬ ਮੈ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨ ਗੁਣਤਾਸ ॥

he pooran he sarab mai dukh bhanjan gunataas |

O Perfect, All-pervading Lord, Destroyer of pain, Treasure of virtue:

ਹੇ ਸੰਗੀ ਹੇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਹੇ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਸਭ ਟੇਕ ॥

he sangee he nirankaar he niragun sabh ttek |

O Companion, Formless, Absolute Lord, Support of all:

ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਹੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਦਾ ਬਿਬੇਕ ॥

he gobid he gun nidhaan jaa kai sadaa bibek |

O Lord of the Universe, Treasure of excellence, with clear eternal understanding:

ਹੇ ਅਪਰੰਪਰ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਹਿ ਭੀ ਹੋਵਨਹਾਰ ॥

he aparanpar har hare heh bhee hovanahaar |

Most Remote of the Remote, Lord God: You are, You were, and You shall always be.

ਹੇ ਸੰਤਹ ਕੈ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਿਧਾਰਾ ਆਧਾਰ ॥

he santah kai sadaa sang nidhaaraa aadhaar |

O Constant Companion of the Saints, You are the Support of the unsupported.

ਹੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਹਉ ਦਾਸਰੋ ਮੈ ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਗੁਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥

he tthaakur hau daasaro mai niragun gun nahee koe |

O my Lord and Master, I am Your slave. I am worthless, I have no worth at all.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀਜੈ ਨਾਮ ਦਾਨੁ ਰਾਖਉ ਹੀਐ ਪਰੋਇ ॥੫੫॥

naanak deejai naam daan raakhau heeai paroe |55|

Nanak: grant me the Gift of Your Name, Lord, that I may string it and keep it within my heart. ||55||
