ਸੁਨਤ ਬਚਨ ਏ ਚੰਡਿਕਾ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਉਠੀ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥

sunat bachan e chanddikaa man mai utthee risaae |

Hearing These words, Chandika was filled with great rage in her mind.

ਸਭ ਦੈਤਨ ਕੋ ਛੈ ਕਰਉ ਬਸਉ ਸਿਵਪੁਰੀ ਜਾਇ ॥੨੩॥

sabh daitan ko chhai krau bsau sivapuree jaae |23|

She said, “I shall destroy all the demons, go and abide in the city of Shiva.23.

ਦੈਤਨ ਕੇ ਬਧ ਕੋ ਜਬੈ ਚੰਡੀ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ॥

daitan ke badh ko jabai chanddee keeo prakaas |

When the idea of destroying the demons was given by Chandi

ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਖ ਅਉ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਭ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਇਗੇ ਪਾਸਿ ॥੨੪॥

singh sankh aau asatr sabh sasatr aaeige paas |24|

The lion, conch and all other weapons and arms came themselves to her.24.

ਦੈਤ ਸੰਘਾਰਨ ਕੇ ਨਮਿਤ ਕਾਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਇਹ ਲੀਨ ॥

dait sanghaaran ke namit kaal janam ih leen |

It seemed that Death itself had taken the birth to destroy the demons.

ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਡਿ ਬਾਹਨ ਭਇਓ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕਉ ਦੁਖੁ ਦੀਨ ॥੨੫॥

singh chandd baahan bheo satran kau dukh deen |25|

The lion, who causes great suffering to the enemies, became the vehicle of the goddess Chandi.25.
