Pauree:

ਜਿਨਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਮਨਾਇਓਨੁ ਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥

jinaa hukam manaaeon te poore sansaar |

Those who obey the Hukam of the Lord's Command, are the perfect persons in the world.

ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸੇਵਨੑਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੂਰੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥

saahib sevana aapanaa poorai sabad veechaar |

They serve their Lord Master, and reflect upon the Perfect Word of the Shabad.

ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥

har kee sevaa chaakaree sachai sabad piaar |

They serve the Lord, and love the True Word of the Shabad.

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਤਿਨੑੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਿਨੑ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਮਾਰਿ ॥

har kaa mehal tinaee paaeaa jina haumai vichahu maar |

They attain the Mansion of the Lord's Presence, as they eradicate egotism from within.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਰਹੇ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੧੦॥

naanak guramukh mil rahe jap har naamaa ur dhaar |10|

O Nanak, the Gurmukhs remain united with Him, chanting the Name of the Lord, and enshrining it within their hearts. ||10||
