ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥

sant janaa mil karahu beechaar |

Joining the Company of the Saints, practice deep meditation.

ਏਕੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥

ek simar naam aadhaar |

Remember the One, and take the Support of the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਅਵਰਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਸਭਿ ਮੀਤ ਬਿਸਾਰਹੁ ॥

avar upaav sabh meet bisaarahu |

Forget all other efforts, O my friend

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰਿਦ ਮਹਿ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਹੁ ॥

charan kamal rid meh ur dhaarahu |

- enshrine the Lord's Lotus Feet within your heart.

ਕਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਮਰਥੁ ॥

karan kaaran so prabh samarath |

God is All-powerful; He is the Cause of causes.

ਦ੍ਰਿੜੁ ਕਰਿ ਗਹਹੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਵਥੁ ॥

drirr kar gahahu naam har vath |

Grasp firmly the object of the Lord's Name.

ਇਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੰਚਹੁ ਹੋਵਹੁ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥

eihu dhan sanchahu hovahu bhagavant |

Gather this wealth, and become very fortunate.

ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤ ॥

sant janaa kaa niramal mant |

Pure are the instructions of the humble Saints.

ਏਕ ਆਸ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥

ek aas raakhahu man maeh |

Keep faith in the One Lord within your mind.

ਸਰਬ ਰੋਗ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਟਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੧॥

sarab rog naanak mitt jaeh |1|

All disease, O Nanak, shall then be dispelled. ||1||
