ਸਚੁ ਸਚਾਵਾ ਮਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਕੂੜ ਕੂੜਾਵੀ ਮਣੀ ਮਨੂਰੀ ।

sach sachaavaa maan hai koorr koorraavee manee manooree |

The regards for truth are always genuine and falsehood is always identified as fake.

ਕੂੜੇ ਕੂੜੀ ਪਾਇ ਹੈ ਸਚੁ ਸਚਾਵੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪੂਰੀ ।

koorre koorree paae hai sach sachaavee guramat pooree |

Respect of the falsehood is also artificial but the wisdom of Guru given to truth is perfect one.

ਕੂੜੈ ਕੂੜਾ ਜੋਰਿ ਹੈ ਸਚਿ ਸਤਾਣੀ ਗਰਬ ਗਰੂਰੀ ।

koorrai koorraa jor hai sach sataanee garab garooree |

The power of a Tier is also counterfeit and even the pious ego of truth is deep and full of gravity.

ਕੂੜੁ ਨ ਦਰਗਹ ਮੰਨੀਐ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰੀ ।

koorr na daragah maneeai sach suhaavaa sadaa hajooree |

Falsehood is not recognised in the court of the Lord whereas truth always adorns His court.

ਸੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਹੈ ਸਚੁ ਘਰਿ ਕੂੜੁ ਕੁਫਰ ਘਰਿ ਨਾ ਸਾਬੂਰੀ ।

sukaraanaa hai sach ghar koorr kufar ghar naa saabooree |

In the home of truth, there is always a sense of gratefulness but falsehood never feels contented.

ਹਸਤਿ ਚਾਲ ਹੈ ਸਚ ਦੀ ਕੂੜਿ ਕੁਢੰਗੀ ਚਾਲ ਭੇਡੂਰੀ ।

hasat chaal hai sach dee koorr kudtangee chaal bheddooree |

The gait of truth is like that of elephant whereas falsehood moves clumsily like sheep.

ਮੂਲੀ ਪਾਨ ਡਿਕਾਰ ਜਿਉ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਤੁਲਿ ਲਸਣੁ ਕਸਤੂਰੀ ।

moolee paan ddikaar jiau mool na tul lasan kasatooree |

The value of musk and garlic cannot be kept at par and same is the case of the eructation of radish and betel.

ਬੀਜੈ ਵਿਸੁ ਨ ਖਾਵੈ ਚੂਰੀ ।੧੯।
