ਸਿੰਘ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਹਵ ਮੈ ਕਬਿ ਰਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਅਤਿ ਧਾਯੋ ॥

singh kritaasatr aahav mai kab raam kahai ris kai at dhaayo |

ਆਇ ਕੈ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਨੂਪਹਿ ਸਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਅਸਿ ਲੈ ਤਬ ਜੁਧ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥

aae kai singh anoopeh siau kar mai as lai tab judh machaayo |

Krata Singh, from the side of Krishna, getting enraged, jumped in the war-arena and taking his sword in his hand, he waged a dreadful war

ਤਾਨਿ ਲਯੋ ਧਨੁ ਬਾਨ ਮਹਾ ਬਰ ਕੈ ਉਰਿ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਨੂਪ ਕੇ ਲਾਯੋ ॥

taan layo dhan baan mahaa bar kai ur singh anoop ke laayo |

He pulled his big bow and discharged an arrow towards Anupam Singh

ਲਾਗਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਰਵਿ ਮੰਡਲ ਭੇਦ ਕੈ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰਾਯੋ ॥੧੩੫੭॥

laagat praan chaliyo tab hee rav manddal bhed kai paar paraayo |1357|

On being struck with it, his life-force touching the sphere of the sun, went beyond it.1357.

ਈਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਕੰਧ ਬਲੀ ਸੁ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਮੈ ਇਹ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਏ ॥

ees singh sakandh balee su ayodhan mai ih aoopar aae |

ਪੇਖਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਬੈ ਸਰ ਤੀਛਨ ਆਵਤ ਤਾਹਿ ਲਗਾਏ ॥

pekh kritaasatr singh tabai sar teechhan aavat taeh lagaae |

The mighty warriors like Ishwar Singh fell upon him, seeing whom Krata Singh discharged his sharp arrows towards them

ਚੰਦ੍ਰਕ ਬਾਨ ਲਗੇ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਦੁਹੁ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਕਾਟ ਕੈ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਾਏ ॥

chandrak baan lage tin kau duhu ke sir kaatt kai bhoom giraae |

They were hit by the moonlike arrows and the heads of both of them fell upon the earth

ਯੌ ਉਪਮਾ ਉਪਜੀ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਮਨੋ ਮੁੰਡਨ ਕੋ ਘਰਿ ਹੀ ਧਰਿ ਆਏ ॥੧੩੫੮॥

yau upamaa upajee man mai mano munddan ko ghar hee dhar aae |1358|

Their trunks appeared to have forgotten their heads in their homes.1358.
