NARAAJ STANZA
ਕਉਨ ਭੂਪ ਭੂਮਿ ਮੈ ਬਤਾਇ ਮੋਹਿ ਦੀਜੀਯੈ ॥
kaun bhoop bhoom mai bataae mohi deejeeyai |
ਜੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਿ ਨ ਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਰਯੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਰਿਖੀਸ ਕੀਜੀਯੈ ॥
jo mohi traas na trasrayo kripaa rikhees keejeeyai |
“O sage! kindly tell me the name and address of the king, who is not fearful of me
ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਉਨ ਹੈ ਹਠੀ ਸੁ ਜਉਨ ਮੋ ਨ ਜੀਤਿਯੋ ॥
su aaur kaun hai hatthee su jaun mo na jeetiyo |
ਅਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਕਉਨ ਠਉਰ ਹੈ ਜਹਾ ਨ ਮੋਹ ਬੀਤਿਯੋ ॥੧੫੪॥
atraas kaun tthaur hai jahaa na moh beetiyo |154|
“Who is that headstrong king, who has not been conquered by me? Which is that place, which has not come under my terror ? 154.
ਨ ਸੰਕ ਚਿਤ ਆਨੀਯੈ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਭਾਖ ਦੀਜੀਯੈ ॥
n sank chit aaneeyai nisank bhaakh deejeeyai |
ਸੁ ਕੋ ਅਜੀਤ ਹੈ ਰਹਾ ਉਚਾਰ ਤਾਸੁ ਕੀਜੀਯੈ ॥
su ko ajeet hai rahaa uchaar taas keejeeyai |
“You may tell me the name of that mighty one unhesitatingly, who is still unconquerable.
ਨਰੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਕੇ ਅਸੇਸ ਜੀਤ ਮੈ ਲੀਏ ॥
nares des des ke ases jeet mai lee |
ਛਿਤੇਸ ਭੇਸ ਭੇਸ ਕੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਆਨਿ ਹੂਐ ਰਹੇ ॥੧੫੫॥
chhites bhes bhes ke gulaam aan hooai rahe |155|
“I have conquered all the kings of the countries far and near and have made all the king of the earth my slaves.155.
ਅਸੇਖ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਜ ਮੋ ਲਗਾਇ ਕੈ ਦੀਏ ॥
asekh raaj kaaj mo lagaae kai dee |
ਅਨੰਤ ਤੀਰਥ ਨਾਤਿ ਕੈ ਅਛਿਨ ਪੁੰਨ ਮੈ ਕੀਏ ॥
anant teerath naat kai achhin pun mai kee |
“I have employed many kings as my servants doing my jobs and have bestowed charities after taking bath at many pilgrim-stations
ਅਨੰਤ ਛਤ੍ਰੀਆਨ ਛੈ ਦੁਰੰਤ ਰਾਜ ਮੈ ਕਰੋ ॥
anant chhatreeaan chhai durant raaj mai karo |
“I am ruling after killing innumerable Kshatriyas
ਸੋ ਕੋ ਤਿਹੁੰ ਜਹਾਨ ਮੈ ਸਮਾਜ ਜਉਨ ਤੇ ਟਰੋ ॥੧੫੬॥
so ko tihun jahaan mai samaaj jaun te ttaro |156|
I am that one from whom the beings of all the three worlds run far away.156.
ਅਨੰਗ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗ ਕੇ ਸੁਰੰਗ ਬਾਜ ਮੈ ਹਰੇ ॥
anang rang rang ke surang baaj mai hare |
ਬਸੇਖ ਰਾਜਸੂਇ ਜਗ ਬਾਜਮੇਧ ਮੈ ਕਰੇ ॥
basekh raajasooe jag baajamedh mai kare |
“I have abducted many multi-coloured horses and have performed special Rajsu and Ashvamedha Yajnas
ਨ ਭੂਮਿ ਐਸ ਕੋ ਰਹੀ ਨ ਜਗ ਖੰਭ ਜਾਨੀਯੈ ॥
n bhoom ais ko rahee na jag khanbh jaaneeyai |
“You may agree with me that any place or sacrificial column is not unacquainted with me
ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਰਿ ਦੁਤੀਯ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਨੀਯੈ ॥੧੫੭॥
jagatr karan kaaran kar duteey mohi maaneeyai |157|
You may accept me as the second Lord of the world.157.
ਸੁ ਅਤ੍ਰ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਜੇ ਧਰੇ ਸੁ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਸੂਰ ਸੇਵਹੀ ॥
su atr chhatr je dhare su chhatr soor sevahee |
“All the warriors who hold the arms and weapons are my servants
ਅਦੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਕੇ ਸੁਦੰਡ ਮੋਹਿ ਦੇਵਹੀ ॥
adandd khandd khandd ke sudandd mohi devahee |
I have chopped into bits the unpunishable individuals and many of them are paying tributes to me
ਸੁ ਐਸ ਅਉਰ ਕੌਨ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਵਾਨ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
su ais aaur kauan hai prataapavaan jaaneeai |
ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਕ ਆਜ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੫੮॥
trilok aaj ke bikhai jogindar mohi maaneeai |158|
“None is considered glorious like me and O great Yogi! consider me as the chief Administrator in all the three worlds.”158.
