ਕਾਹੇ ਕੋ ਮਾਨ ਕਰੈ ਸੁਨ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਉਠ ਕੈ ਕਰ ਸੋਊ ॥

kaahe ko maan karai sun gvaarin sayaam kahai utth kai kar soaoo |

“O gopi! why are you absorbed in pride?

ਜਾ ਕੇ ਕੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਇ ਖੁਸੀ ਸੁਨਿਯੈ ਬਲ ਕਾਜ ਕਰੋ ਅਬ ਜੋਊ ॥

jaa ke kee har hoe khusee suniyai bal kaaj karo ab joaoo |

Do whatever Krishna has said, do that work, which pleases Krishna,

ਤਉ ਤੁਹਿ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਵਤ ਹੈ ਜਬ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗੀ ਤੁਮ ਸੋ ਤਬ ਓਊ ॥

tau tuhi bol patthaavat hai jab preet lagee tum so tab oaoo |

ਨਾਤਰ ਰਾਸ ਬਿਖੈ ਸੁਨ ਰੀ ਤੁਹਿ ਸੀ ਨਹਿ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੋਊ ॥੬੯੦॥

naatar raas bikhai sun ree tuhi see neh gvaarin sundar koaoo |690|

“He loves you, therefore he has sent me to call you, otherwise why there is none other so beautiful gopi in the whole amorous play?690.

ਸੰਗ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਘਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਕਛੂ ਨਾਹਿ ਨਈ ॥

sang tere hee preet ghanee har kee sabh jaanat hai kachhoo naeh nee |

“He is profound love with you, everyone knows it and this is not a new thing

ਜਿਹ ਕੀ ਮੁਖ ਉਪਮ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਜਿਹ ਕੀ ਤਨ ਭਾ ਮਨੋ ਰੂਪਮਈ ॥

jih kee mukh upam chandr prabhaa jih kee tan bhaa mano roopamee |

He, whose face is glorious like the moon and whose body is beauty-incarnate,

ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਕੋ ਤ︀ਯਾਗਿ ਸੁਨੋ ਸਜਨੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੀ ਉਠ ਕੈ ਤੁਹਿ ਬਾਟ ਲਈ ॥

tih sang ko tayaag suno sajanee grih kee utth kai tuhi baatt lee |

“Leaving his company, O friend! you have taken the path leading to your home

ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਸਖੀ ਬਹੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੀ ਤੋ ਸੀ ਗੁਵਾਰਿ ਭਈ ਨ ਭਈ ॥੬੯੧॥

brijanaath ke sang sakhee bahu teree ree to see guvaar bhee na bhee |691|

There are may young damsels in the company of Krishna, the lord of Braja, but there is none so uncivilised like you.”691.
