ਜੌ ਅਪਨੀ ਤੈ ਗੁਦਾ ਪਰ ਖੋਦਨ ਦੇਇ ਬਿਹੰਗ ॥

jau apanee tai gudaa par khodan dee bihang |

‘If you let me tattoo a bird on your rectum,

ਤੋ ਤੁਮ ਅਬ ਜੀਵਤ ਰਹੋ ਬਚੈ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਅੰਗ ॥੧੧॥

to tum ab jeevat raho bachai tihaare ang |11|

‘Only then you can save your life.’(11)

ਤਬੈ ਬਨਿਕ ਤੈਸੇ ਕਿਯਾ ਜ︀ਯੋਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥

tabai banik taise kiyaa jayon triy kahiyo risaae |

The moneylender agreed to do whatever the lady said.

ਥਰਹਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਛਿਤ ਪਰ ਗਿਰਿਯੋ ਬਚਨ ਨ ਭਾਖ︀ਯੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੨॥

tharahar kar chhit par giriyo bachan na bhaakhayo jaae |12|

He fell flat on his chest and shut his mouth tightly.(l2)

ਤਬੁ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਤਰਿ ਇਕ ਛੁਰਕੀ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ॥

tab tarunee hai te utar ik chhurakee ke sang |

Then the lady dismounted the horse and took a knife,

ਰਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਤਿਹ ਬਨਿਕ ਕੀ ਬੁਰਿ ਪਰ ਖੁਦ੍ਰਯੋ ਬਿਹੰਗ ॥੧੩॥

raam bhanai tih banik kee bur par khudrayo bihang |13|

As Ram Bhanai (the poet) said, the lady tattooed a bird.(13) (1)
