VISHNUPADA KAFI
ਤਾ ਦਿਨ ਦੇਹ ਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਜਾਨੋ ॥
taa din deh safal kar jaano |
I shall accept that day fruitful and blessed, on which the mother of the world,
ਜਾ ਦਿਨ ਜਗਤ ਮਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਦੇਹਿ ਬਿਜੈ ਬਰਦਾਨੋ ॥
jaa din jagat maat prafulit hvai dehi bijai baradaano |
Getting pleased, will bestow on me the boon of victory
ਤਾ ਦਿਨ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਟਿ ਬਾਧੋ ਚੰਦਨ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਲਗਾਊਾਂ ॥
taa din sasatr asatr katt baadho chandan chitr lagaaooaan |
On that day I shall fasten the arms and weapons with my waist, and plaster the place with sandal
ਜਾ ਕਹੁ ਨੇਤ ਨਿਗਮ ਕਹਿ ਬੋਲਤ ਤਾਸੁ ਸੁ ਬਰੁ ਜਬ ਪਾਊਾਂ ॥੭੬॥
jaa kahu net nigam keh bolat taas su bar jab paaooaan |76|
From her I shall obtain the boon, whom the Vedas etc. call “neti, neti’ (not this, not this).2.76.

VISHNUPADA SORATHA SAYING BY THY GRACE
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਅਭਯ ਭਵਾਨੀ ॥
antarajaamee abhay bhavaanee |
The Goddess Bhavani who understands everything contained in the mind,
ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਾਰਸ ਕੋ ਚਿਤ ਕੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥
at hee nirakh prem paaras ko chit kee brithaa pachhaanee |
Seeing the extreme love of the king Parasnath, understood his mind-thought
ਆਪਨ ਭਗਤ ਜਾਨ ਭਵਖੰਡਨ ਅਭਯ ਰੂਪ ਦਿਖਾਯੋ ॥
aapan bhagat jaan bhavakhanddan abhay roop dikhaayo |
Considering him Her devotee, the goddess showed him her fearless form
ਚਕ੍ਰਤ ਰਹੇ ਪੇਖਿ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਸੁਰ ਅਜਰ ਅਮਰ ਪਦ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੭੭॥
chakrat rahe pekh mun jan sur ajar amar pad paayo |77|
Seeing it all the sages and men were wonder-struck and all of them attained the supreme State.3.77.
ਸੋਭਿਤ ਬਾਮਹਿ ਪਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੀ ॥
sobhit baameh paan kripaanee |
ਜਾ ਤਰ ਜਛ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਅਸੁਰਨ ਕੀ ਸਬ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਹਿਰਾਨੀ ॥
jaa tar jachh kinar asuran kee sab kee kriyaa hiraanee |
In the left hand of the goddess that sword was there, with which she had destroyed all the Yakshas, demons and Kinnars etc.
ਜਾ ਤਨ ਮਧੁ ਕੀਟਭ ਕਹੁ ਖੰਡ︀ਯੋ ਸੁੰਭ ਨਿਸੁੰਭ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥
jaa tan madh keettabh kahu khanddayo sunbh nisunbh sanghaare |
ਸੋਈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਲਗੇ ਜਗ ਦਾਇਨ ਰਹੋ ਹਮਾਰੇ ॥੭੮॥
soee kripaan nidaan lage jag daaein raho hamaare |78|
The same sword had killed Madhu-Kaitabh and Shumbh-Nishumbh. O Lord! the same sword may ever be on my left side i.e. I may wear it.4.78.
ਜਾ ਤਨ ਬਿੜਾਲਾਛ ਚਿਛ੍ਰਾਦਿਕ ਖੰਡਨ ਖੰਡ ਉਡਾਏ ॥
jaa tan birraalaachh chichhraadik khanddan khandd uddaae |
ਧੂਲੀਕਰਨ ਧੂਮ੍ਰਲੋਚਨ ਕੇ ਮਾਸਨ ਗਿਧ ਰਜਾਏ ॥
dhooleekaran dhoomralochan ke maasan gidh rajaae |
Biralaksh, Chakshrasura etc. were torn into bits and with the same sword, the flesh of Dhumar Lochan was caused to be eaten by the vultures to their fill
ਰਾਮ ਰਸੂਲ ਕਿਸਨ ਬਿਸਨਾਦਿਕ ਕਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਵਾਲਹਿ ਕੂਟੇ ॥
raam rasool kisan bisanaadik kaal kravaaleh kootte |
Ram, Muhammad, Krishna, Vishnu etc., All were destroyed by this sword of KAL
ਕੋਟਿ ਉਪਾਇ ਧਾਇ ਸਭ ਥਾਕੇ ਬਿਨ ਤਿਹ ਭਜਨ ਨ ਛੂਟੇ ॥੭੯॥
kott upaae dhaae sabh thaake bin tih bhajan na chhootte |79|
Crores of measures, but without the devotion of One Lord, no one achieved redemption.5.79.

ਸੋਭਿਤ ਪਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਉਜਾਰੀ ॥
sobhit paan kripaan ujaaree |
ਜਾ ਤਨ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਈ ਖੰਡੇ ਬਿਸਨ ਕ੍ਰੋਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰਾਰੀ ॥
jaa tan indr kott kee khandde bisan kror tripuraaree |
There is that sword in His hand, which had chopped crores of Vishnus, Indras and Shivas
ਜਾ ਕਹੁ ਰਾਮ ਉਚਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਸਬ ਸੇਵਤ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਏ ॥
jaa kahu raam uchar mun jan sab sevat dhiaan lagaae |
The sages meditate on that sword-like power
ਤਸ ਤੁਮ ਰਾਮ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਕਈ ਕੋਟਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਉਪਾਇ ਮਿਟਾਏ ॥੮੦॥
tas tum raam krisan kee kottik baar upaae mittaae |80|
O Power! You created heroes like Rama and Krishna many times and destroyer them many times.6.80.
ਅਨਭਵ ਰੂਪ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਗੰਜਨ ਕਹੋ ਕਵਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਗਈਯੈ ॥
anabhav roop saroop aganjan kaho kavan bidh geeyai |
Your figure is a thing of perception how can I sing about it?
ਜਿਹਬਾ ਸਹੰਸ੍ਰ ਰਟਤ ਗੁਨ ਥਾਕੀ ਕਬਿ ਜਿਹਵੇਕ ਬਤਈਯੈ ॥
jihabaa sahansr rattat gun thaakee kab jihavek bateeyai |
The tongue of the poet sings about your thousands of qualities and gets tired
ਭੂਮਿ ਅਕਾਸ ਪਤਾਰ ਜਵਨ ਕਰ ਚਉਦਹਿ ਖੰਡ ਬਿਹੰਡੇ ॥
bhoom akaas pataar javan kar chaudeh khandd bihandde |
He, who destroyers the earth, sky nether-world and the fourteen world,
ਜਗਮਗ ਜੋਤਿ ਹੋਤਿ ਭੂਤਲਿ ਮੈ ਖੰਡਨ ਅਉ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡੇ ॥੮੧॥
jagamag jot hot bhootal mai khanddan aau brahamandde |81|
The Light of that Power is shining everywhere.781.
