DOHRA

ਜਬ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਕਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਸ ਲੇਹੁ ॥

jab ih bidh so nrip kahiyo kahee braham jas lehu |

ਜਗ ਅਨਲ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੁਕਟਿ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਿ ਦੇਹੁ ॥੧੫੫੫॥

jag anal te jo mukatt upajio so muhi dehu |1555|

When the king said like this to Brahma, then Brahma said, “O king! Become praiseworthy and give me the crown that had come out of the fire of Yajna.”1555.

ਜਬ ਚਤੁਰਾਨਨਿ ਯੌ ਕਹੀ ਪੁਨਿ ਬੋਲਿਓ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ॥

jab chaturaanan yau kahee pun bolio jadubeer |

ਗਉਰਾ ਤੇਤਾ ਤੁਹਿ ਦਯੋ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਿ ਦੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਧੀਰ ॥੧੫੫੬॥

gauraa tetaa tuhi dayo so muhi de nrip dheer |1556|

When Brahma had begged it, then Krishna spoke, “Give me the amulet that had been given to you by the goddess Chandi.”1556.
