ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਅਥਾਹੁ ਸਹਾਬਾ ।

satigur sachaa paatisaahu beparavaahu athaahu sahaabaa |

The true Guru is the carefree emperor, unfathomable and full of all qualities of a master.

ਨਾਉ ਗਰੀਬ ਨਿਵਾਜੁ ਹੈ ਬੇਮੁਹਤਾਜ ਨ ਮੋਹੁ ਮੁਹਾਬਾ ।

naau gareeb nivaaj hai bemuhataaj na mohu muhaabaa |

His name is cherisher of the poor; neither He has attachment with any one nor He is dependent on anybody.

ਬੇਸੁਮਾਰ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਸਲਾਹ ਸਿਞਾਬਾ ।

besumaar nirankaar hai alakh apaar salaah siyaabaa |

Formless, infinite and impeceptible, He is having all the attributes which deseve eulogization

ਕਾਇਮੁ ਦਾਇਮੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੀ ਹਾਜਰੁ ਨਾਜਰੁ ਵੇਦ ਕਿਤਾਬਾ ।

kaaeim daaeim saahibee haajar naajar ved kitaabaa |

The mastery of the true Guru is eternal because all the always present before Him (for His praises).

ਅਗਮੁ ਅਡੋਲੁ ਅਤੋਲੁ ਹੈ ਤੋਲਣਹਾਰੁ ਨ ਡੰਡੀ ਛਾਬਾ ।

agam addol atol hai tolanahaar na ddanddee chhaabaa |

The true Guru is beyond all measuses; He cannot be weighed on any scale.

ਇਕੁ ਛਤਿ ਰਾਜੁ ਕਮਾਂਵਦਾ ਦੁਸਮਣੁ ਦੂਤੁ ਨ ਸੋਰ ਸਰਾਬਾ ।

eik chhat raaj kamaanvadaa dusaman doot na sor saraabaa |

Uniform is His kingdom wherein there is no enemy, no friend and no noisy clamour

ਆਦਲੁ ਅਦਲੁ ਚਲਾਇਦਾ ਜਾਲਮੁ ਜੁਲਮੁ ਨ ਜੋਰ ਜਰਾਬਾ ।

aadal adal chalaaeidaa jaalam julam na jor jaraabaa |

The true Guru is judicious; dispenses justice and in His kingdom no atrocity and tyranny is exacted.

ਜਾਹਰ ਪੀਰ ਜਗਤੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਬਾਬਾ ।੩।

jaahar peer jagat gur baabaa |3|

Such a grand Guru (Nanak) is the manifest spiritual teacher of the whole world.
