ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹੋਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਹੁ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਅਮਰ ਅਮਰਿ ਵਰਤਾਇਆ ।

satigur hoaa satigurahu acharaj amar amar varataaeaa |

From the true Guru (Angad Dev) becoming the truthful Guru, Amar

ਸੋ ਟਿਕਾ ਸੋ ਬੈਹਣਾ ਸੋਈ ਸਚਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਚਲਾਇਆ ।

so ttikaa so baihanaa soee sachaa hukam chalaaeaa |

Has enacted a wondrous feat. The same light, the same seat and the same will of Lord is being spread by him.

ਖੋਲਿ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਚੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ।

khol khajaanaa sabad daa saadhasangat sach mel milaaeaa |

He has opened up the storehouse of word and has made the truth manifest through the holy congregation.

ਗੁਰ ਚੇਲਾ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਕਰਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਵਰਨ ਲੈ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਇਆ ।

gur chelaa paravaan kar chaar varan lai pairee paaeaa |

Making the disciple authentic, the Guru has put all the four varnas at his feet.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਇਕੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ।

guramukh ik dhiaaeeai duramat doojaa bhaau mittaaeaa |

Now all becoming gurmukhs adore the one Lord and evil wisdom and duality have been wiped out of them.

ਕੁਲਾ ਧਰਮ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਸਭ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚਿ ਉਦਾਸੁ ਰਹਾਇਆ ।

kulaa dharam gurasikh sabh maaeaa vich udaas rahaaeaa |

Now the duty of the family and the teaching of the Guru is that one should be detacthed while living amidst maya

ਪੂਰੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਥਾਟੁ ਬਣਾਇਆ ।੧੨।
