ਚਉਬੀਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀਨ ਜਿਹਾ ਭਾਤਾ ॥
chaubees guroo keen jihaa bhaataa |
ਅਬ ਸੁਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਕਹੋ ਇਹ ਬਾਤਾ ॥
ab sun lehu kaho ih baataa |
Listen not to the manner in which Dutt adopted twenty-four Gurus
ਏਕ ਮਕਰਕਾ ਦਤ ਨਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
ek makarakaa dat nihaaree |
ਐਸ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੇ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥੧੭੬॥
ais hride anumaan bichaaree |176|
He saw a spider and reflected in his mind.176.
ਆਪਨ ਹੀਐ ਐਸ ਅਨੁਮਾਨਾ ॥
aapan heeai ais anumaanaa |
ਤੀਸਰ ਗੁਰੁ ਯਾਹਿ ਹਮ ਮਾਨਾ ॥
teesar gur yaeh ham maanaa |
Contemplating in his mind, he said this, “I consider it my third Guru
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੂਤ ਕੀ ਡੋਰਿ ਬਢਾਵੈ ॥
prem soot kee ddor badtaavai |
ਤਬ ਹੀ ਨਾਥ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧੭੭॥
tab hee naath niranjan paavai |177|
When the thread of love will extend, then only the Lord (Nath Niranjan-the unmanifested Brahman) will be realized.”177.
ਆਪਨ ਆਪੁ ਆਪ ਮੋ ਦਰਸੈ ॥
aapan aap aap mo darasai |
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਤਮਾ ਪਰਸੈ ॥
antar guroo aatamaa parasai |
ਏਕ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਧਾਵੈ ॥
ek chhaadd kai anat na dhaavai |
ਤਬ ਹੀ ਪਰਮ ਤਤੁ ਕੋ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧੭੮॥
tab hee param tat ko paavai |178|
When the self will be visualized and within oneself the soul-Guru will be touched and the mind will not go anywhere else, leaving the ONE, then only the Supreme Essence will be realized.178.
ਏਕ ਸਰੂਪ ਏਕ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖੈ ॥
ek saroop ek kar dekhai |
ਆਨ ਭਾਵ ਕੋ ਭਾਵ ਨੇ ਪੇਖੈ ॥
aan bhaav ko bhaav ne pekhai |
ਏਕ ਆਸ ਤਜਿ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਧਾਵੈ ॥
ek aas taj anat na dhaavai |
ਤਬ ਹੀ ਨਾਥ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧੭੯॥
tab hee naath niranjan paavai |179|
When the form of one will be considered and seen as One and no other thought will come into the mind and keeping one objective before oneself, the mind will not run anywhere else, then the Lord (Nath Niranjan---the unmanifested Brahman).179.
ਕੇਵਲ ਅੰਗ ਰੰਗ ਤਿਹ ਰਾਚੈ ॥
keval ang rang tih raachai |
ਏਕ ਛਾਡਿ ਰਸ ਨੇਕ ਨ ਮਾਚੈ ॥
ek chhaadd ras nek na maachai |
ਪਰਮ ਤਤੁ ਕੋ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਵੈ ॥
param tat ko dhiaan lagaavai |
ਤਬ ਹੀ ਨਾਥ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧੮੦॥
tab hee naath niranjan paavai |180|
When the merger will be in only one and the mind will not be obsurbed in anyone else accept the ONE and meditate only on the supreme esselce, then it will realise the lord ( Nath Niranjan-the Unmanifasted brahman) 180
ਤੀਸਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਕਰਿਕਾ ਠਾਨੀ ॥
teesar guroo makarikaa tthaanee |
ਆਗੇ ਚਲਾ ਦਤ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ॥
aage chalaa dat abhimaanee |
Accepting the spider as the third Guru, the glorious Dutt moved further
ਤਾ ਕਰ ਭਾਵ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੇ ਮਹਿ ਲੀਨਾ ॥
taa kar bhaav hride meh leenaa |
ਹਰਖਵੰਤ ਤਬ ਚਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਾ ॥੧੮੧॥
harakhavant tab chalaa prabeenaa |181|
Getting greatly pleased, he moved forward, adopting their connotation in his heart.181.
