ਅਜ਼ ਪੇਸ਼ਿ ਚਸ਼ਮ ਆਂ ਬੁਤਿ ਨਾਂ-ਮਿਹਰਬਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।

az pesh chasham aan but naamiharabaan guzashat |

It is still possible if one is prepared to put his foot on the crucifix like Mansoor. (12) (2)

ਜਾਨਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ਤਾ ਚਿ ਰਹੇ ਦੀਦਾ ਜਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।੮।੧।

jaanaan guzashat taa chi rahe deedaa jaan guzashat |8|1|

O mind! If you do not have the motive to go the educational school or you are scared of the teacher,

ਰੋਗਸ਼ ਕਬੂਦ ਵ ਦਿਲਸ਼ ਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਾ ਸਾਖ਼ਤ ।

rogash kabood v dilash pur sharaaraa saakhat |

You may not, but, at least, you should be able to go towards the bar. (12) (3)

ਅਜ਼ ਬਸਕਿ ਦੂਦਿ ਆਹਿ ਮਨ ਅਜ਼ ਆਸਮਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।੮।੨।

az basak dood aaeh man az aasamaan guzashat |8|2|

When my heart, due to my deep affection for You, has become envy of the blossomed garden,

ਮਾ ਰਾ ਬ-ਯੱਕ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾਇ ਅਬਰੂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਕਰਦ ।

maa raa bayak ishaaraae abaroo shaheed karad |

Then, how can it ever even think of going to the flower beds. (12) (4)

ਅਕਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਜ ਨੀਸਤ ਕਿ ਤੀਰ ਅਜ਼ ਕਮਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।੮।੩।

akanoo ilaaj neesat ki teer az kamaan guzashat |8|3|

O my mind! When you become familiar with the mysteries of the Lord,

ਯੱਕ ਦਮ ਬ-ਖੋਸ਼ ਰਾਹ ਨਾ ਬੁਰਦਮ ਕਿ ਕੀਸਤਮ ।

yak dam bakhosh raah naa buradam ki keesatam |

Then, only You, the repository of mysteries, can get into my body. (12) (5)

ਐ ਵਾਇ ਨਕਦ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਅਮ ਰਾਇਗਾਣ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।੮।੪।

ai vaae nakad zindageeam raaeigaan guzashat |8|4|

When hundreds of gardens are blossoming inside the house, the body,

ਹਰਗਿਜ਼ ਬ-ਸੈਰਿ ਰੌਜ਼ਾਇ ਰਿਜ਼ਵਾਣ ਨਮੀ ਰਵਦ ।

haragiz basair rauazaae rizavaan namee ravad |

Goyaa says, then how can anyone go to any other structures? (12) (6)

ਗੋਯਾ ਕਸੇ ਕਿ ਜਾਨਿਬ ਕੁਇ ਬੁਤਾਣ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।੮।੫।

goyaa kase ki jaanib kue butaan guzashat |8|5|

Bhai Sahib telling the worldly people, "You have eventually seen that the seekers of Akaalpurakh adopted the only path to attain Him, Then, you have reaped full benefits from this precious life." (13) (1)
