MADHUBHAAR STANZA

ਬਿਮੋਹਿਯੋਤ ਦੇਖੀ ॥

bimohiyot dekhee |

ਕਿ ਰਾਵਲ ਭੇਖੀ ॥

ki raaval bhekhee |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਰਾਜਾ ॥

ki sanayaas raajaa |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਜਾ ॥੨੩੩॥

ki sarabatr saajaa |233|

Seeing him, Dutt, the king of Yogis, who was in the garb of a Rawal, and who was theking of Sannyasis, and respectable for all, he was allured towards him.233.

ਕਿ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦੇਖਾ ॥

ki sanbhaal dekhaa |

ਕਿ ਸੁਧ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਪੇਖਾ ॥

ki sudh chandr pekhaa |

ਕਿ ਪਾਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਮੰ ॥

ki paavitr karaman |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਧਰਮੰ ॥੨੩੪॥

ki saniaas dharaman |234|

He saw him like pure moon and found him that his actions were immaculate and in accordance with Yoga.234.

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਭੇਖੀ ॥

ki saniaas bhekhee |

ਕਿ ਆਧਰਮ ਦ੍ਵੈਖੀ ॥

ki aadharam dvaikhee |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਗਾਮੀ ॥

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੇਸ ਧਾਮੀ ॥੨੩੫॥

ki dharames dhaamee |235|

That Sannyasi king was the destroyer of impiety, he went everywhere in his kingdom and was the abode of Dharma.235.

ਕਿ ਆਛਿਜ ਜੋਗੰ ॥

ki aachhij jogan |

ਕਿ ਆਗੰਮ ਲੋਗੰ ॥

ki aagam logan |

ਕਿ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬੰਧੰ ॥

ki langott bandhan |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਧੰ ॥੨੩੬॥

ki sarabatr mandhan |236|

His Yoga was indestructible and wearing his loin-cloth, he moved everywhere in his kingdom.236.

ਕਿ ਆਛਿਜ ਕਰਮਾ ॥

ki aachhij karamaa |

ਕਿ ਆਲੋਕ ਧਰਮਾ ॥

ki aalok dharamaa |

His action and duties were illustrious and not liable to decay

ਕਿ ਆਦੇਸ ਕਰਤਾ ॥

ki aades karataa |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਸਰਤਾ ॥੨੩੭॥

ki sanayaas sarataa |237|

He was the commander of all and was like a stream of Sannyas.237.

ਕਿ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

ki agiaan hantaa |

ਕਿ ਪਾਰੰਗ ਗੰਤਾ ॥

ki paarang gantaa |

ਕਿ ਆਧਰਮ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

ki aadharam hantaa |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਭਕਤਾ ॥੨੩੮॥

ki sanayaas bhakataa |238|

He was the destroyer of ignorance, skilful in sciences, the destroyer of impiety and a devotee of Sannyasis.238.

ਕਿ ਖੰਕਾਲ ਦਾਸੰ ॥

ki khankaal daasan |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਭਾਸੰ ॥

ki sarabatr bhaasan |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਰਾਜੰ ॥

ki sanayaas raajan |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਜੰ ॥੨੩੯॥

ki sarabatr saajan |239|

He was the servitor of the Lord, he was felt everywhere by his subjects, a king in Sannyas and he was embellished with all learnings.239.

ਕਿ ਪਾਰੰਗ ਗੰਤਾ ॥

ki paarang gantaa |

ਕਿ ਆਧਰਮ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

ki aadharam hantaa |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਭਕਤਾ ॥

ki saniaas bhakataa |

ਕਿ ਸਾਜੋਜ ਮੁਕਤਾ ॥੨੪੦॥

ki saajoj mukataa |240|

He was the destroyer of impiety, a devotee of the path of Sannyas, of Jivan-mukta (redeemed while living) and was skilful in all learnings.240.

ਕਿ ਆਸਕਤ ਕਰਮੰ ॥

ki aasakat karaman |

ਕਿ ਅਬਿਯਕਤ ਧਰਮੰ ॥

ki abiyakat dharaman |

He was absorbed in good deeds, an unattached Yogi

ਕਿ ਅਤੇਵ ਜੋਗੀ ॥

ki atev jogee |

ਕਿ ਅੰਗੰ ਅਰੋਗੀ ॥੨੪੧॥

ki angan arogee |241|

He was like unmanifested Dharma devoid of Yoga his limbs were healthy.241.

ਕਿ ਸੁਧੰ ਸੁਰੋਸੰ ॥

ki sudhan surosan |

ਨ ਨੈਕੁ ਅੰਗ ਰੋਸੰ ॥

n naik ang rosan |

He was never in ire, even slightly

ਨ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕਰਤਾ ॥

n kukaram karataa |

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੰ ਸੁ ਸਰਤਾ ॥੨੪੨॥

ki dharaman su sarataa |242|

No vice touched him and he ever flowed like the river of Dharma.242.

ਕਿ ਜੋਗਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ॥

ki jogaadhikaaree |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਧਾਰੀ ॥

ki sanayaas dhaaree |

He adopted Sannyas and was the supreme authority of Yoga

ਕਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰ ਸੁ ਭਗਤਾ ॥

ki brahaman su bhagataa |

ਕਿ ਆਰੰਭ ਜਗਤਾ ॥੨੪੩॥

ki aaranbh jagataa |243|

He was the devotee of Brahman, the originator of the world.243.

ਕਿ ਜਾਟਾਨ ਜੂਟੰ ॥

ki jaattaan joottan |

ਕਿ ਨਿਧਿਆਨ ਛੂਟੰ ॥

ki nidhiaan chhoottan |

That king wearing matted locks, had abandoned all the stores of materials

ਕਿ ਅਬਿਯਕਤ ਅੰਗੰ ॥

ki abiyakat angan |

ਕਿ ਕੈ ਪਾਨ ਭੰਗੰ ॥੨੪੪॥

ki kai paan bhangan |244|

And he wore waist-cloth.24.

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਕਰਮੀ ॥

ki sanayaas karamee |

ਕਿ ਰਾਵਲ ਧਰਮੀ ॥

ki raaval dharamee |

He performed actions of Sannyas and adopted Rawal religion

ਕਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਕਾਲ ਕੁਸਲੀ ॥

ki trikaal kusalee |

ਕਿ ਕਾਮਾਦਿ ਦੁਸਲੀ ॥੨੪੫॥

ki kaamaad dusalee |245|

He always remained in bliss and was the destroyer of lust etc.245.

ਕਿ ਡਾਮਾਰ ਬਾਜੈ ॥

ki ddaamaar baajai |

ਕਿ ਸਬ ਪਾਪ ਭਾਜੈ ॥

ki sab paap bhaajai |

The tabors were being played, hearing which all the sins had fled away

ਕਿ ਬਿਭੂਤ ਸੋਹੈ ॥

ki bibhoot sohai |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਮੋਹੈ ॥੨੪੬॥

ki sarabatr mohai |246|

His body had been smeared with ashes and all were getting allured towards him.246.

ਕਿ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬੰਦੀ ॥

ki langott bandee |

ਕਿ ਏਕਾਦਿ ਛੰਦੀ ॥

ki ekaad chhandee |

He wore loin-cloth and spoke occasionally

ਕਿ ਧਰਮਾਨ ਧਰਤਾ ॥

ki dharamaan dharataa |

ਕਿ ਪਾਪਾਨ ਹਰਤਾ ॥੨੪੭॥

ki paapaan harataa |247|

He was the adopter of piety and destroyer of sin.247.

ਕਿ ਨਿਨਾਦਿ ਬਾਜੈ ॥

ki ninaad baajai |

ਕਿ ਪੰਪਾਪ ਭਾਜੈ ॥

ki panpaap bhaajai |

The horn was being blown and the sins were running away

ਕਿ ਆਦੇਸ ਬੁਲੈ ॥

ki aades bulai |

ਕਿ ਲੈ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਖੁਲੈ ॥੨੪੮॥

ki lai granth khulai |248|

The orders were given there that the religious texts be read.248.

ਕਿ ਪਾਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਸੀ ॥

ki paavitr desee |

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੇਾਂਦ੍ਰ ਭੇਸੀ ॥

ki dharameaandr bhesee |

ਕਿ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬੰਦੰ ॥

ki langott bandan |

ਕਿ ਆਜੋਤਿ ਵੰਦੰ ॥੨੪੯॥

ki aajot vandan |249|

In that holy country, assuming the religious garb, the prayer was being held, thinking of that one wearing the lion-cloth as effulgence.249.

ਕਿ ਆਨਰਥ ਰਹਿਤਾ ॥

ki aanarath rahitaa |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਸਹਿਤਾ ॥

ki sanayaas sahitaa |

He was devoid of misfortune and attached to Sannyas

ਕਿ ਪਰਮੰ ਪੁਨੀਤੰ ॥

ki paraman puneetan |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਮੀਤੰ ॥੨੫੦॥

ki sarabatr meetan |250|

He was supremely immaculate and friend of all.250.

ਕਿ ਅਚਾਚਲ ਅੰਗੰ ॥

ki achaachal angan |

ਕਿ ਜੋਗੰ ਅਭੰਗੰ ॥

ki jogan abhangan |

He was absorbed in yoga, having indescribable form

ਕਿ ਅਬਿਯਕਤ ਰੂਪੰ ॥

ki abiyakat roopan |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਭੂਪੰ ॥੨੫੧॥

ki saniaas bhoopan |251|

He was a Sannyasi king.251.

ਕਿ ਬੀਰਾਨ ਰਾਧੀ ॥

ki beeraan raadhee |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਧੀ ॥

ki sarabatr saadhee |

He was the hero of heroes and practiser of all the disciplines

ਕਿ ਪਾਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਮਾ ॥

ki paavitr karamaa |

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ︀ਯਾਸ ਧਰਮਾ ॥੨੫੨॥

ki sanayaas dharamaa |252|

He was a Sannyasi, performing underrfiled actions.252.

ਅਪਾਖੰਡ ਰੰਗੰ ॥

apaakhandd rangan |

ਕਿ ਆਛਿਜ ਅੰਗੰ ॥

ki aachhij angan |

ਕਿ ਅੰਨਿਆਇ ਹਰਤਾ ॥

ki aniaae harataa |

ਕਿ ਸੁ ਨ︀ਯਾਇ ਕਰਤਾ ॥੨੫੩॥

ki su nayaae karataa |253|

He was like that Lord, who is imperishable, and just, the remover of injustice.253.

ਕਿ ਕਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਸੀ ॥

ki karaman pranaasee |

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਦਾਸੀ ॥

ki sarabatr daasee |

ਕਿ ਅਲਿਪਤ ਅੰਗੀ ॥

ki alipat angee |

ਕਿ ਆਭਾ ਅਭੰਗੀ ॥੨੫੪॥

ki aabhaa abhangee |254|

He was the destroyer of Karmas, the servitor of all, everywhere, unattached and glorious.254.

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਗੰਤਾ ॥

ki sarabatr gantaa |

ਕਿ ਪਾਪਾਨ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

ki paapaan hantaa |

ਕਿ ਸਾਸਧ ਜੋਗੰ ॥

ki saasadh jogan |

ਕਿਤੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਰੋਗੰ ॥੨੫੫॥

kitan tiaag rogan |255|

He was the goer to all the places, the remover of sins, beyond all ailments and the one who remained a pure Yogi.255.

ਇਤਿ ਸੁਰਥ ਰਾਜਾ ਯਾਰ੍ਰਹਮੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਰਨਨੰ ਸਮਾਪਤੰ ॥੧੧॥
