ਏਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਹਿ ਵਹੁ ਸਾਹਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

ek triyeh vahu saeh nihaariyo |

ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਮੁਖੀ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਟ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

eindr mukhee ke nikatt uchaariyo |

When the pretty lady had fallen for the Shah, she exclaimed, ‘Oh, god Indra Mukhi,

ਐਸੋ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਭੋਗ ਕੋ ਪੈਯੈ ॥

aiso purakh bhog ko paiyai |

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਬਲਿ ਜੈਯੈ ॥੭॥

praan sahit taa ke bal jaiyai |7|

‘If I get such a person for making love, I could sacrifice my life on him.’(7)

ਸੁਨੁ ਰਾਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠੈਯੈ ॥

sun raanee tih bol patthaiyai |

ਮੈਨ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਕਮੈਯੈ ॥

main bhog tih saath kamaiyai |

(She soliloquised,) ‘Listen Rani, you invite him and make-love with him.

ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਜੋ ਸੁਤ ਹੌ ਹੈ ॥

tum te taa ko jo sut hau hai |

ਤਾ ਕੇ ਰੂਪ ਤੁਲਿ ਕਹ ਕੋ ਹੈ ॥੮॥

taa ke roop tul keh ko hai |8|

‘A son will be born and there will never be as handsome as he.(8)

ਤਾ ਕੋ ਜੋ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਲਖਿ ਪੈਹੈ ॥

taa ko jo isatree lakh paihai |

ਬਹੁਰਿ ਆਪਨੇ ਧਾਮ ਨ ਜੈਹੈ ॥

bahur aapane dhaam na jaihai |

‘Any woman who will see him, she will not be able to retain her senses,

ਤਾਹੀ ਪੈ ਆਸਿਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ॥

taahee pai aasik hvai reh hai |

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਜ︀ਯੋਂ ਨਿਤ ਕਹਿ ਹੈ ॥੯॥

raam naam ko jayon nit keh hai |9|

‘And the way she recalled Sri Ram, she will recollect your son.(9)
