bharam karam daa lekh mett lekh alekh visekh banande |

ਜਗਮਗ ਜੋਤਿ ਉਦੋਤੁ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੰਦ ਨ ਲਖ ਪੁਜੰਦੇ ।

jagamag jot udot kar sooraj chand na lakh pujande |

Myriads of suns and moons cannot reach their effulgence.

ਹਉਮੈ ਗਰਬੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਚ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲੰਦੇ ।

haumai garab nivaar kai saadhasangat sach mel milande |

Deleting ego from themselves they take dip into the sacred tank of the holy congregation.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਰਣ ਕਵਲ ਪੂਜਾ ਪਰਚੰਦੇ ।

saadhasangat pooran braham charan kaval poojaa parachande |

Holy congregation is the abode of the perfect Brahm and they (gurmukhs) keep their mind imbued with the lotus feet (of Lord).

ਸੁਖ ਸੰਪਟਿ ਹੋਇ ਭਵਰ ਵਸੰਦੇ ।੭।

sukh sanpatt hoe bhavar vasande |7|

They become the black bee and reside in the pleasure-petals (of the holy Lord).
