ਸੈਨ ਬਨਾਇ ਭਲੋ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਜਸੁਦਾ ਦਧਿ ਕੋ ਮਿਲਿ ਲੂਟਨ ਲਾਏ ॥

sain banaae bhalo har jee jasudaa dadh ko mil loottan laae |

In this way, formulating an army, Krishna began to plunder the milk of Yashoda

ਹਾਥਨ ਮੈ ਗਹਿ ਕੈ ਸਭ ਬਾਸਨ ਕੈ ਬਲ ਕੋ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਬਗਾਏ ॥

haathan mai geh kai sabh baasan kai bal ko chahoon or bagaae |

Catching the vessels in their hands, they began to throw them hither and thither

ਫੂਟ ਗਏ ਵਹ ਫੈਲ ਪਰਿਓ ਦਧਿ ਭਾਵ ਇਹੈ ਕਬਿ ਕੇ ਮਨਿ ਆਏ ॥

foott ge veh fail pario dadh bhaav ihai kab ke man aae |

ਕੰਸ ਕੋ ਮੀਝ ਨਿਕਾਰਨ ਕੋ ਅਗੂਆ ਜਨੁ ਆਗਮ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜਨਾਏ ॥੧੪੨॥

kans ko meejh nikaaran ko agooaa jan aagam kaanrah janaae |142|

Seeing the milk and curd spread here and there, this idea has come into the mind of the poet that the spread of milk is a sign in advance of the bursting of the marrow from the cracked skull.142.

ਫੋਰ ਦਏ ਤਿਨ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਬਾਸਨ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭਰੀ ਜਸੁਦਾ ਤਬ ਧਾਈ ॥

for de tin jo sabh baasan krodh bharee jasudaa tab dhaaee |

When all the vessels were broken by Krishna, then Yashoda ran with rage

ਫਾਧਿ ਚੜੇ ਕਪਿ ਰੂਖਨ ਰੂਖਨ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨ ਸੈਨ ਭਗਾਈ ॥

faadh charre kap rookhan rookhan gvaaran gvaaran sain bhagaaee |

The monkeys ascended the trees and the army of gopa children was made to run away by signs by Krishna

ਦਉਰਤ ਦਉਰਿ ਤਬੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਬਸੁਧਾ ਪਰਿ ਆਪਨੀ ਮਾਤ ਹਰਾਈ ॥

daurat daur tabai har jee basudhaa par aapanee maat haraaee |

Krishna kept running and his mother was exhausted

ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਫਿਰ ਕੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਕੈ ਪਤਿ ਊਖਲ ਸੋ ਫੁਨਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਬੰਧਾਈ ॥੧੪੩॥

sayaam kahai fir kai brij kai pat aookhal so fun dehi bandhaaee |143|

The poet Shyam says that when Krishna was caught, he the Lord of Braja was tied with the ukhal (large wooden mortar).143.

ਦਉਰਿ ਗਹੇ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਜਸੁਦਾ ਜਬ ਬਾਧਿ ਰਹੀ ਰਸੀਆ ਨਹੀ ਮਾਵੈ ॥

daur gahe har jee jasudaa jab baadh rahee raseea nahee maavai |

When Yashoda ran to catch Krishna and toed him, he began to cry

ਕੈ ਇਕਠੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਕੀ ਰਸੀਆ ਸਭ ਜੋਰਿ ਰਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਥਾਹਿ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

kai ikatthee brij kee raseea sabh jor rahee kachh thaeh na paavai |

The mother gathered together the roes of Braja, but Krishna could not be bound down

ਫੇਰਿ ਬੰਧਾਇ ਭਏ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਕੇ ਪਤਿ ਊਖਲ ਸੋ ਧਰਿ ਊਪਰ ਧਾਵੈ ॥

fer bandhaae bhe brij ke pat aookhal so dhar aoopar dhaavai |

Ultimately, he was tied with ukhal and began to roll on the earth

ਸਾਧ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਕੋ ਜੁਮਲਾਰਜੁਨ ਤਾਹਿਾਂ ਨਿਮਿਤ ਕਿਧੋ ਵਹ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੧੪੪॥

saadh udhaaran ko jumalaarajun taahiaan nimit kidho veh jaavai |144|

This was being done only for the salvation of Yamlajuna.144.
