ਲੈ ਕਰਿ ਚੰਡਿ ਕੁਵੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਮਹਾ ਬਰਬੰਡ ਤਬੈ ਇਹ ਕੀਨੋ ॥

lai kar chandd kuvandd prachandd mahaa barabandd tabai ih keeno |

The mighty Chandika, taking the bow in her hand, in great rage, did this

ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਰ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਹਕਾਰਿ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ਬਿਦਾਰ ਸਭੈ ਦਲ ਦੀਨੋ ॥

ek hee baar nihaar hakaar sudhaar bidaar sabhai dal deeno |

She scanned once all the army of the enemy and with terrible shout destroyed it.

ਦੈਤ ਘਨੇ ਰਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਹਨੇ ਲਖਿ ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਸਨੇ ਕਵਿ ਇਉ ਮਨੁ ਚੀਨੋ ॥

ਜਿਉ ਖਗਰਾਜ ਬਡੋ ਅਹਿਰਾਜ ਸਮਾਜ ਕੇ ਕਾਟਿ ਕਤਾ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਨੋ ॥੩੬॥

jiau khagaraaj baddo ahiraaj samaaj ke kaatt kataa kar leeno |36|
