Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਮਾਈ ਰੀ ਪੇਖਿ ਰਹੀ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥

maaee ree pekh rahee bisamaad |

O mother, I am wonder-struck, gazing upon the Lord.

ਅਨਹਦ ਧੁਨੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਿਓ ਅਚਰਜ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਦ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

anahad dhunee meraa man mohio acharaj taa ke svaad |1| rahaau |

My mind is enticed by the unstruck celestial melody; its flavor is amazing! ||1||Pause||

ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਬੰਧਪ ਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਅਹਿਲਾਦ ॥

maat pitaa bandhap hai soee man har ko ahilaad |

He is my Mother, Father and Relative. My mind delights in the Lord.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਗਾਏ ਗੁਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਸਭੁ ਪਰਮਾਦ ॥੧॥

saadhasang gaae gun gobind binasio sabh paramaad |1|

Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, all my illusions are dispelled. ||1||

ਡੋਰੀ ਲਪਟਿ ਰਹੀ ਚਰਨਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭੈ ਸਗਲੇ ਖਾਦ ॥

ddoree lapatt rahee charanah sang bhram bhai sagale khaad |

I am lovingly attached to His Lotus Feet; my doubt and fear are totally consumed.

ਏਕੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਕੀਆ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਜੋਨਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਦ ॥੨॥੯੪॥੧੧੭॥

ek adhaar naanak jan keea bahur na jon bhramaad |2|94|117|

Servant Nanak has taken the Support of the One Lord. He shall not wander in reincarnation ever again. ||2||94||117||
