Utter firstly the word “Yaduraaj-Vallabhaa”, then say “Jaachar-nayak” and speak the word “Shatru” at the end, and in this way, know all the names of Tupak.848.

My friends have come into my home.

The True Lord has united me with them.
ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਏ ਪੰਚ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
sehaj milaae har man bhaae panch mile sukh paaeaa |
The Lord automatically united me with them when it pleased Him; uniting with the chosen ones, I have found peace.
ਸਾਈ ਵਸਤੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਈ ਜਿਸੁ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥
saaee vasat paraapat hoee jis setee man laaeaa |
I have obtained that thing, which my mind desired.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਮੇਲੁ ਭਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਸੋਹਾਏ ॥
anadin mel bheaa man maaniaa ghar mandar sohaae |
Meeting with them, night and day, my mind is pleased; my home and mansion are beautified.
ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਧੁਨਿ ਅਨਹਦ ਵਾਜੇ ਹਮ ਘਰਿ ਸਾਜਨ ਆਏ ॥੧॥
panch sabad dhun anahad vaaje ham ghar saajan aae |1|
The unstruck sound current of the Panch Shabad, the Five Primal Sounds, vibrates and resounds; my friends have come into my home. ||1||
ਆਵਹੁ ਮੀਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
aavahu meet piaare |
So come, my beloved friends,
ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਾਰੇ ॥
mangal gaavahu naare |
And sing the songs of joy, O sisters.
ਸਚੁ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਹੁ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰੇ ॥
sach mangal gaavahu taa prabh bhaavahu sohilarraa jug chaare |
Sing the true songs of joy and God will be pleased. You shall be celebrated throughout the four ages.
ਅਪਨੈ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਥਾਨਿ ਸੁਹਾਇਆ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
apanai ghar aaeaa thaan suhaaeaa kaaraj sabad savaare |
My Husband Lord has come into my home, and my place is adorned and decorated. Through the Shabad, my affairs have been resolved.
ਗਿਆਨ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਰੂਪੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥
giaan mahaa ras netree anjan tribhavan roop dikhaaeaa |
Applying the ointment, the supreme essence, of divine wisdom to my eyes, I see the Lord's form throughout the three worlds.
ਸਖੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਰਸਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਹਮ ਘਰਿ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਆਇਆ ॥੨॥
sakhee milahu ras mangal gaavahu ham ghar saajan aaeaa |2|
So join with me, my sisters, and sing the songs of joy and delight; my friends have come into my home. ||2||
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਭਿੰਨਾ ॥
man tan amrit bhinaa |
My mind and body are drenched with Ambrosial Nectar;
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਰਤੰਨਾ ॥
antar prem ratanaa |
deep within the nucleus of my self, is the jewel of the Lord's Love.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਪਰਮ ਤਤੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੋ ॥
antar ratan padaarath merai param tat veechaaro |
This invaluable jewel is deep within me; I contemplate the supreme essence of reality.
ਜੰਤ ਭੇਖ ਤੂ ਸਫਲਿਓ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਿਰਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰੋ ॥
jant bhekh too safalio daataa sir sir devanahaaro |
Living beings are mere beggars; You are the Giver of rewards; You are the Giver to each and every being.
ਤੂ ਜਾਨੁ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕੀਨਾ ॥
too jaan giaanee antarajaamee aape kaaran keenaa |
You are Wise and All-knowing, the Inner-knower; You Yourself created the creation.
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਖੀ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਨਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਭੀਨਾ ॥੩॥
sunahu sakhee man mohan mohiaa tan man amrit bheenaa |3|
So listen, O my sisters - the Enticer has enticed my mind. My body and mind are drenched with Nectar. ||3||
ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥
aatam raam sansaaraa |
O Supreme Soul of the World,
ਸਾਚਾ ਖੇਲੁ ਤੁਮੑਾਰਾ ॥
saachaa khel tumaaraa |
Your play is true.
ਸਚੁ ਖੇਲੁ ਤੁਮੑਾਰਾ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਉਣੁ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥
sach khel tumaaraa agam apaaraa tudh bin kaun bujhaae |
Your play is true, O Inaccessible and Infinite Lord; without You, who can make me understand?
ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਵਣੁ ਕਹਾਏ ॥
sidh saadhik siaane kete tujh bin kavan kahaae |
There are millions of Siddhas and enlightened seekers, but without You, who can call himself one?
ਕਾਲੁ ਬਿਕਾਲੁ ਭਏ ਦੇਵਾਨੇ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਠਾਏ ॥
kaal bikaal bhe devaane man raakhiaa gur tthaae |
Death and rebirth drive the mind insane; only the Guru can hold it in its place.
ਨਾਨਕ ਅਵਗਣ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਲਾਏ ਗੁਣ ਸੰਗਮਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੪॥੧॥੨॥
naanak avagan sabad jalaae gun sangam prabh paae |4|1|2|
O Nanak, one who burns away his demerits and faults with the Shabad, accumulates virtue, and finds God. ||4||1||2||

ghar aapanarrai kharree takaa mai man chaau ghaneraa raam |
I stand in my doorway, watching for You; my mind is filled with such a great yearning.
ਮਨਿ ਚਾਉ ਘਨੇਰਾ ਸੁਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੈ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ॥
man chaau ghaneraa sun prabh meraa mai teraa bharavaasaa |
My mind is filled with such a great yearning; hear me, O God - I place my faith in You.
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਕੇਵਲ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਾਸਾ ॥
darasan dekh bhee nihakeval janam maran dukh naasaa |
Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, I have become free of desire; the pains of birth and death are taken away.
ਸਗਲੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਾਤਾ ਤੂ ਸੋਈ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਭਾਇ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥
sagalee jot jaataa too soee miliaa bhaae subhaae |
Your Light is in everyone; through it, You are known. Through love, You are easily met.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਜਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ਸਾਚਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ॥੧॥
naanak saajan kau bal jaaeeai saach mile ghar aae |1|
O Nanak, I am a sacrifice to my Friend; He has come home to meet with those who are true. ||1||
ਘਰਿ ਆਇਅੜੇ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਤਾ ਧਨ ਖਰੀ ਸਰਸੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
ghar aaeiarre saajanaa taa dhan kharee sarasee raam |
When her Friend comes to her home, the bride is very pleased.
ਹਰਿ ਮੋਹਿਅੜੀ ਸਾਚ ਸਬਦਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਰਹੰਸੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
har mohiarree saach sabad tthaakur dekh rahansee raam |
She is fascinated with the True Word of the Lord's Shabad; gazing upon her Lord and Master, she is filled with joy.
ਗੁਣ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਹੰਸੀ ਖਰੀ ਸਰਸੀ ਜਾ ਰਾਵੀ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੈ ॥
gun sang rahansee kharee sarasee jaa raavee rang raatai |
She is filled with virtuous joy, and is totally pleased, when she is ravished and enjoyed by her Lord, and imbued with His Love.
ਅਵਗਣ ਮਾਰਿ ਗੁਣੀ ਘਰੁ ਛਾਇਆ ਪੂਰੈ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਬਿਧਾਤੈ ॥
avagan maar gunee ghar chhaaeaa poorai purakh bidhaatai |
Her faults and demerits are eradicated, and she roofs her home with virtue, through the Perfect Lord, the Architect of Destiny.
ਤਸਕਰ ਮਾਰਿ ਵਸੀ ਪੰਚਾਇਣਿ ਅਦਲੁ ਕਰੇ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
tasakar maar vasee panchaaein adal kare veechaare |
Conquering the thieves, she dwells as the mistress of her home, and administers justice wisely.
ਨਾਨਕ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੨॥
naanak raam naam nisataaraa guramat mileh piaare |2|
O Nanak, through the Lord's Name, she is emancipated; through the Guru's Teachings, she meets her Beloved. ||2||
ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਅੜਾ ਬਾਲੜੀਏ ਆਸਾ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
var paaeiarraa baalarree aasaa manasaa pooree raam |
The young bride has found her Husband Lord; her hopes and desires are fulfilled.
ਪਿਰਿ ਰਾਵਿਅੜੀ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਲੀ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਨਹ ਦੂਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
pir raaviarree sabad ralee rav rahiaa neh dooree raam |
She enjoys and ravishes her Husband Lord, and blends into the Word of the Shabad, pervading and permeating everywhere; the Lord is not far away.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੂਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸੋਈ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਨਾਰਿ ਸਬਾਈ ॥
prabh door na hoee ghatt ghatt soee tis kee naar sabaaee |
God is not far away; He is in each and every heart. All are His brides.
ਆਪੇ ਰਸੀਆ ਆਪੇ ਰਾਵੇ ਜਿਉ ਤਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
aape raseea aape raave jiau tis dee vaddiaaee |
He Himself is the Enjoyer, He Himself ravishes and enjoys; this is His glorious greatness.
ਅਮਰ ਅਡੋਲੁ ਅਮੋਲੁ ਅਪਾਰਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਸਚੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥
amar addol amol apaaraa gur poorai sach paaeeai |
He is imperishable, immovable, invaluable and infinite. The True Lord is obtained through the Perfect Guru.
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪੇ ਜੋਗ ਸਜੋਗੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈਐ ॥੩॥
naanak aape jog sajogee nadar kare liv laaeeai |3|
O Nanak, He Himself unites in Union; by His Glance of Grace, He lovingly attunes them to Himself. ||3||
ਪਿਰੁ ਉਚੜੀਐ ਮਾੜੜੀਐ ਤਿਹੁ ਲੋਆ ਸਿਰਤਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
pir ucharreeai maarrarreeai tihu loaa sirataajaa raam |
My Husband Lord dwells in the loftiest balcony; He is the Supreme Lord of the three worlds.
ਹਉ ਬਿਸਮ ਭਈ ਦੇਖਿ ਗੁਣਾ ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਅਗਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
hau bisam bhee dekh gunaa anahad sabad agaajaa raam |
I am amazed, gazing upon His glorious excellence; the unstruck sound current of the Shabad vibrates and resonates.
ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੀ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੋ ॥
sabad veechaaree karanee saaree raam naam neesaano |
I contemplate the Shabad, and perform sublime deeds; I am blessed with the insignia, the banner of the Lord's Name.
ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਖੋਟੇ ਨਹੀ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਪਰਵਾਣੋ ॥
naam binaa khotte nahee tthaahar naam ratan paravaano |
Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the false find no place of rest; only the jewel of the Naam brings acceptance and renown.
ਪਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਰਵਾਨਾ ਨਾ ਆਵੈ ਨਾ ਜਾਸੀ ॥
pat mat pooree pooraa paravaanaa naa aavai naa jaasee |
Perfect is my honor, perfect is my intellect and password. I shall not have to come or go.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੈਸੇ ਅਵਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥
naanak guramukh aap pachhaanai prabh jaise avinaasee |4|1|3|
O Nanak, the Gurmukh understands her own self; she becomes like her Imperishable Lord God. ||4||1||3||
