ਸਬੈ ਸੁਭਟ ਅਉ ਸਭ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਯੌ ਸਮਝੋ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
sabai subhatt aau sabh sukab yau samajho man maeh |
ਬਿਸਨੁ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਮੈ ਭੇਦ ਕਉਨਹੂੰ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੭੪॥
bisan chakr ke naam mai bhed kaunahoon naeh |74|
All the warriors and poets should understand this fact nicely that there is not even the slightest difference between Vishnu and the names of his Chakra.74.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਮਾਲਾ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੁਤੀਯ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨॥

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ॥
jap man raam naam nisataaraa |
Chant the Name of the Lord, O mind, and you shall be emancipated.
ਕੋਟ ਕੋਟੰਤਰ ਕੇ ਪਾਪ ਸਭਿ ਖੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kott kottantar ke paap sabh khovai har bhavajal paar utaaraa |1| rahaau |
The Lord shall destroy all the sins of millions upon millions of incarnations, and carry you across the terrifying world-ocean. ||1||Pause||
ਕਾਇਆ ਨਗਰਿ ਬਸਤ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਾ ॥
kaaeaa nagar basat har suaamee har nirbhau niravair nirankaaraa |
In the body-village, the Lord Master abides; the Lord is without fear, without vengeance, and without form.
ਹਰਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬਸਤ ਕਛੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਧਾ ਗੁਰ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
har nikatt basat kachh nadar na aavai har laadhaa gur veechaaraa |1|
The Lord is dwelling near at hand, but He cannot be seen. By the Guru's Teachings, the Lord is obtained. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਾਹੁ ਸਰਾਫੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਹੀਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਕੀਆ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ ॥
har aape saahu saraaf ratan heeraa har aap keea paasaaraa |
The Lord Himself is the banker, the jeweller, the jewel, the gem; the Lord Himself created the entire expanse of the creation.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਹਾਝੇ ਸੋ ਸਾਹੁ ਸਚਾ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੪॥
naanak jis kripaa kare su har naam vihaajhe so saahu sachaa vanajaaraa |2|4|
O Nanak, one who is blessed by the Lord's Kind Mercy, trades in the Lord's Name; He alone is the true banker, the true trader. ||2||4||

Bairaaree, Fourth Mehl:
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਾ ॥
jap man har niranjan nirankaaraa |
Meditate, O mind, on the immaculate, formless Lord.
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sadaa sadaa har dhiaaeeai sukhadaataa jaa kaa ant na paaraavaaraa |1| rahaau |
Forever and ever, meditate on the Lord, the Giver of peace; He has no end or limitation. ||1||Pause||
ਅਗਨਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਮਹਿ ਉਰਧ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਉਦਰ ਮੰਝਾਰਾ ॥
agan kuntt meh uradh liv laagaa har raakhai udar manjhaaraa |
In the fiery pit of the womb, when you were hanging upside-down, the Lord absorbed You in His Love, and preserved You.
ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਛਡਾਵਣਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
so aisaa har sevahu mere man har ant chhaddaavanahaaraa |1|
So serve such a Lord, O my mind; the Lord shall deliver you in the end. ||1||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਸਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥
jaa kai hiradai basiaa meraa har har tis jan kau karahu namasakaaraa |
Bow down in reverence to that humble being, within whose heart the Lord, Har, Har, abides.
ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੫॥
har kirapaa te paaeeai har jap naanak naam adhaaraa |2|5|
By the Lord's Kind Mercy, O Nanak, one obtains the Lord's meditation, and the support of the Naam. ||2||5||

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥
jap man har har naam nit dhiaae |
O my mind, chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; meditate on it continually.
ਜੋ ਇਛਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jo ichheh soee fal paaveh fir dookh na laagai aae |1| rahaau |
You shall obtain the fruits of your heart's desires, and pain shall never touch you again. ||1||Pause||
ਸੋ ਜਪੁ ਸੋ ਤਪੁ ਸਾ ਬ੍ਰਤ ਪੂਜਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਇ ॥
so jap so tap saa brat poojaa jit har siau preet lagaae |
That is chanting, that is deep meditation and austerity, that is fasting and worship, which inspires love for the Lord.
ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਭ ਝੂਠੀ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਸਭ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥
bin har preet hor preet sabh jhootthee ik khin meh bisar sabh jaae |1|
Without the Lord's Love, every other love is false; in an instant, it is all forgotten. ||1||
ਤੂ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
too beant sarab kal pooraa kichh keemat kahee na jaae |
You are infinite, the Master of all power; Your value cannot be described at all.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੁਮੑਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਵੈ ਛਡਾਇ ॥੨॥੬॥
naanak saran tumaaree har jeeo bhaavai tivai chhaddaae |2|6|
Nanak has come to Your Sanctuary, O Dear Lord; as it pleases You, save him. ||2||6||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
sant janaa mil har jas gaaeo |
Meeting with the humble Saints, sing the Praises of the Lord.
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਗਵਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kott janam ke dookh gavaaeo |1| rahaau |
The pains of millions of incarnations shall be eradicated. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋ ਚਾਹਤ ਸੋਈ ਮਨਿ ਪਾਇਓ ॥
jo chaahat soee man paaeo |
Whatever your mind desires, that you shall obtain.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਿਵਾਇਓ ॥੧॥
kar kirapaa har naam divaaeo |1|
By His Kind Mercy, the Lord blesses us with His Name. ||1||
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਡਾਈ ॥
sarab sookh har naam vaddaaee |
All happiness and greatness are in the Lord's Name.
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
gur prasaad naanak mat paaee |2|1|7|
By Guru's Grace, Nanak has gained this understanding. ||2||1||7||
